Ohio tournament format- 3 classifications based on school size Each classifiaction is 16 man double elimination place through 8

A wrestler will wrestle all kids in his pool for four matches then come out and wrestle the corresponding place winner from the other pool for his fifth match

Independence High School will be hosting a Holiday Tournament Dec 29, 2006. It will be a ten team tournament with two pools of five so each wrestler will recieve five matches. We are looking for teams from all over the state and out of state. I dont think we need a bigger bracket but instead of going directly to state from regionals add another step. District-regionals- state Personally Id like to see a 16 man bracket state tournament. I think it would eliminate those SQ that sometimes water down the competition.

Independence High School is looking to host a 10 team Olympic pool tournament next holiday. We are looking to put together an extremely competitive field and teams with full rosters. I would like some information on the tournament. Any openings for next year and what is the format.
