congrats to forrest on a great win. there was no dought about it that the 2 best teams in the state played one of the best championship games in a long time. the better team one tonight , i would have liked to have seen our girls win. the one thing that comes to mind, is that in 99 j.county won silver and then won gold the next four years. maybe history will repeat itself. once again congrats to forrest. and to the lady devils on a great season. win or lose you all have always made us proud.

ladyEAGLEmom i would like to appologize to you if i have offended you with comments in my last post. we are both right about our defenitions of arrogance, i do aggree with you that there are rude and disrespectfull fans from j.coounty and from every county, team, school or whatever you want to call it. but what bothers me about something you said in your first post is you said j.county fans are rude or seem to be most arrogant than any i have ever seen, in keeping in mind your defenition of arrogance, that bothers me that you are talking about ALL j.county fans. some of those fans are my 2 sons. my wife ,my parents that are in there 60,s. when you say j.county fans that includes those that i have mentioned that are in my family, and that bothers me! it is the farthest thing from the truth to think that they are arrogant, the thing that i would respectfully ask is that you don't group all fan's together, there are good fans, and bad fans, my hat is off to summeretown for the season that they have had, to be in the final 8 teams, even in the top 4 as they were, is a great accomplishment in it's self, once again my appologies,

from the previous post i am glad to see that you feel that j.county fans are arrogant! for the definition of arrogance is to be OVERBEARINGLY PROUD. yes here in j.county we are extremely proud of our girls. they have brought great pride to this community,but i am sure that when you made your comment about us being arrogant.that you meant that in a degrading disrespectful way. here in j.county we call that being a spoiled sport and a sore loser. because you all want to get on here and talk about bad calls and everything else. to make an excuse as to why your team got beat . there has not been enough bad calls to make up for the 21 point beating S.T. took today and the 18 point thumping that hampton took yesterday. yes we may get beat tomorrow by forrest if so. then thats the way it was meant to be. we will hang our heads high and think of what a great run it was. if we are fortunate enough to win the gold then everyone will be invited to kermit forkum gym to celebrate tomorrow night somewhere around 10-midnight .as has been done 4 other times since 2000. in all kinds of sports there are teams that are hated the yankees in baseball, the patriots in football.etc.etc. with jackson county girls basketball being hated in tennessee. because if they werent so good everyone wouldn't hate them so b ad. so stop your whining and get over your beating

once again,let say know what your talking about before speaking, for another FACT,here we go, the girls that you have mentioned and all the other girls that were the teams that were state runners up in 99 and state champs 2000 - 2003 were all born and raised right here in good old j.county. not move in's or anything else. so for them to move away or what ever would be kind of stupid, to pick up and have moved, to what a losing team? what i can't understand how you can keep coming off with this shoulda,coulda,woulda,tha FACT is they didn't! so therefore quit assuming and pretending something that didn't happen, i you can't come off with facts then don't comment

well let's see.. since the reclasification is done every 5 yrs. in around the yr. 2000 is when this would have been done. and the reason they dropped to class A ball. was due to dropping below 500 students. to have an enrollment now of 452. i for one have not said or have seen anyone say that JC 4gold balls were more impressive than anyone else's gold balls. in A AA or AAA. on the other hand j.county is the only team in state history to win 4 gold in a row in AA. along with pickett in A. and i believe shelbyville in AAA. that you can say is impressive!!!!! I dont care who you are, or where you are from ,you cant deny that for any of these teams, and to say that you can't compare state championshipsone to another. yes they can! j.county can compare there 4 in a row to pickett and shelbyville.something NO ONE ELSE CAN DO! the mark has been set by these three schools. how many can your school win in a row. if you match or surpass then that will be very impressive. but to say if this could have happened, or if that could have happened, or maybe if the stars and moon were or were not in alignment. things might have been different is bogus. seems to me all yall are doing is grasping at straws.

yep we sure have been outside jackson county. a place called murfreesboro. like from 99-to i believe 2003 state runner up in 99. gold the other 4 yrs. and were hoping to go there again this year, so to answer your question we have been outside the county.
