15 to 20 points better!!! I hate to do this, but I just can't leave this one alone,so here it goes... Upperman lost by 3 once and 18 another time DeKalb lost by 3 once and 12 the second game. Are you dislexic??? Do the numbers 3, 12, or 18 look anything like 20. I know some of them are close but none of them are 20. And that's two teams from the weak 7-AA.

honestly, rivalries are fun for me. LA happens to be DC's only rival worth talking about. You know how much I would love to be able to say our STATE CHAMPION FOOTBALL TEAM. it would make my year. so hog-eye is a town, i got that much its a big deal to yall, i know that, but DeKalb has our small towns but there not like a legacy or any thing. is it sports related? i have to know. i probably shouldn't have dissed the hogeye thing with out knowing the whole story first but no one would come right out and tell me. i just want to know. maybe i will let yall in on some of the DC legacies or something.

Talking smack is the second most important aspect of sports right behind the actual game, regardless of whether or not you have the game to back it up. P.S. Is hog-eye something that Livingston residents are ashamed of? Just tell me what the heck it is. When someone asks me what I'm about i don't come back with and i quote "hog-eye is a legacy that someone like you could never live up to" That's way too renegade for me to try and pull.

I have come to the conclusion that Livingston Tennessee is the most boring city in America. If anyone hasn't noticed, the message boards at coach t are plagued with the idiotic residents of Livingston rambling about how good their sports are. And how Dekalb stinks so bad. I know that after this is posted, Livingston's coach t faithful will immediately begin trying think of a comeback, but they won't. We may stink at sports but at least we don't stink at life. We know how to have a good time and Livingston Knows coach t like the back of their hand. I'll let you pick the winner!!! What the heck is HOG-EYE???

No LA is not head and shoulders above all the teams in the district. If you consider beating a team by 3 and then by 12 being head and shoulders above the competition i guess LA is. But the rest of the world has a differsnt point of view. LA is a good team, but honestly, STATE??? You can't be serious.

Football and basketball are two completely different sports. I'm all for a good cindarella story like LA's football team but you have to be realistic. Teams like Bolivar and Liberty Tech are just too good for Livingston. LA has had some tough competition this year but they cant play up to these teams level

Oh yeah, why the heck does LA think they might have a shot of winning state??? They won't even win the district. How are they gonna beat all these schools like Bolivar or whatever you gotta be messin with me thats stupid to even think that.

I think the post stunk I mean if he really deserved the coach of the year why did Coach Martin get it??????????????? Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! because Martin deserved it not Melton. It looks like to me now this is just me that all the coaches might know a little more than "the general" now thats just me.

Congratulations to Livingston Academy and Coach Melton, the TRUE Coach of the Year. The TRUE coach of the year is the coach who has the most votes cast for him. Not the person who has the most votes after all but one ballot has been counted.

So Stinson won fair and square. That's good. No one should criticize the coach for questioning the results. The player with the most votes won the award and that is the way it should be. Every coach cast a ballot and every vote was counted. Congrats to Stinson and Martin

I've decide to just let this argeument be decided on the hardwood. LA wins, cool. LA loses, i've got you guys right where i want you I'm just looking foward to district tournaments cause everyone is even (in theory anyways)Even DC girls.

RockingChair: Honestly, I don't know. This was really a tough year for football, no one expected much but no wins. That really hurt and i think some of that carried over to basketball. I think Lynus Martin can really turn things around with boys basketball. he reminds me of ... i don't really know who he reminds me of? just a mixture of many graet coaches, i guess. Girls basketball is caught up in this seemingly endless district game losing streak. Hopefully, a lack luster football and basketball season will not carry over into baseball. Scott Odom (DC baseball coach) is a genius, and he has many years left. he has a real bright future in coaching. I would like to see Last year's boys team play one of those Danny Foutch era teams. It would be very interesting with the change in styles since then. just the way the game is played now would probably put the young team ahead. Idont know that would be something to see.

Please stop beating a dead horse Madison Square Garden if someone wants to find a topic, they will. But please don't lead people ther just so you can make more smart comments. True my stuff has been harsh, but I have apologized and the least you can do is accept my apology and we can be bros. If LA makes it that far and I feel they can win some games there i will root for them, but Friday night DC is my team, and despite a loss to Upperman, I still think DC will give LA a run for their money. Anyone see the Upperman DC girl's game there's a whole new topic. DC girls last district win-Jan. 7 2000. Losing streak ends at 79 who knows. I whole heartedly agree with MommaCheerCat. I think that in this topic over the last few days, we have all gotten away from what high school basketball is really about. and she set us all straight. I would like to shoulder most of the blame for letting things get out of hand. However, I do have the right to voice my opinion and I say DC by 5. I'm through with this topic, but Iwill be back come tournament time ( should DC and LA meet). It's been real.

Really!!! I hope you're not being sarcastic and are serious about forfeiting. What a lame comment man that game is over. That same DC team will not show up on Friday night. Watching the game it seemed like DC wasn't trying??? Who knows? If a team has one game like that a year and one game where some of the the best players don't even get on the board, at least that game is behind us and we don't have to worry about that happening Friday. The rest of this week's practice will be heck for the team, and they will bring their A+ game in fear aof having to stay at the gym all weekend.
