Should Humboldt, Union City & Lake County be ranked in the top 10 this week? UC may fall after loses to both. Can't wait to see it, although I really believe they mean absolutely nothing. 1. I'll agree if they have a good shooting night from outside it will be a game. Forgive me for not being more clear when I said strong enough. I just think they are not "strong enough inside" to beat Humboldt at home. Copelin is the only one that persistently has a inside game and Whitby keeps him sitting too close to him most of the time. He has to be in there to take up the slack from the poor shooting from Geanes and Tyler. Again good luck to both teams.

I can't remember one this tough. should end in a tie. Lake County is not strong enogh to win against the vikings at home. If Springer and Copelin have great games and LC plays defense like they did in the last few minutes of the last UC game, they may keep it close for a while but in the end Humboldt will win by at least 12. You are so right, this is a really tough district. Can't say anything about how tough the other districts are, but this one is way up there. Whomever comes out of here should have a really good run. I want to see the UC/LC game tonight, but if there are players out for UC, I sure hate to drive 90 minutes each way for that. Still may be a good tight game but I'm not going to drive and take that chance. Guess I'll wait and see if they meet down the road. If anyone finds out the truth please post. Thanks

Is it true some players from UC are out for a couple games?

I played a little ball a long time ago and I know you did as well. We always felt confident when we knew who was gonna start the game and sub in situations. I stood around in the lobby last night just listening to the LC fans. They are frustrated with the starting lineups as well as subs and who gets how much playing time. I'll just say this, play the 5 that give your team the best chance to be competetive. If the players want to voice thier disappointment in the coach's decisions it better be with respect and in the locker room, not in front of a gym full of people. Again, if LC plans on being competetive on Tuesday night or going anywhere in tournament play, they have some real issues to clean up.

Thanks for agreeing bigster. Can't help but think that a little discipline would take this LC squad a long way. But the way they are acting, playing and coaching will do them in early. They have the talent to play with UC or anyone else, but I'm afraid attitude over shadows talent in young athletes.

Make it 28. Whitby has no control over "his" team. I saw LC play twice this week. There seems to be an air of "no respect for the coach" from the LC players. And Whitby doesn't seem to have the ability to demand respect from them. The way Tyler acted on Thursday night would have him off my team. He may not be right, but he is the coach. Kudos to Springer and Copelin. They had terriffic weeks. That should get them less playing time. UC by 18
