First of all I am Coach Agee. There are many things wrong with Girls basketball as a whole in Dekalb County. There isn't a "game plan" for the lack of a better word in the county, no one is on the same page. That includes Jr. Pro, West School, Middle School, and High School. That's the first thing that has to change. It has to be a building block system. We need to improve the fundamental developement at an earlier age. I have to spend alot of time on basic fundemetals of the game. (dribbling, passing and shooting correctly) Those things need to developed in 4th/5th grades. I don't expect them to be pistol pete but that would help. I could enhance those skills and work more on things like man to man defense, defending pick and rolls, learning how to read a screen, etc... getting them ready for the high school game. All I know is that I am trying to do the best that I can to improve girls basketball in Dekalb couty. Let me clear other things up that have been written on this board. I was interested in the High School job when it became open. Yes, I would be interested in it if it came open again but thats not in my hands. I am very happy a Dekalb Middle. All I can do is do my best to improve the girls at the middle school and that is all that I can worry about. Every thing else will take care of itself. I am going to contiune to work hard, and work the girls that I have hard, and try to make them the best basketball players that I can.

There is a good freshman pitcher at Dekalb County, Shay Sullivan. You will hear alot from her this year and years to come.

Who won the 5a girls game? Was it White County? What was the score?

I agree Dekalb wins. This team has really put it together the last couple of weeks of the season. They are really playing well right now and I don't think upperman can match up with them. I know upperman beat them at Upperman, but we all know how Bobby gets all the calls at home. Dekalb 62 Upperman 50. Hoopper has a big night.

Look here is what went on. Dekalb's coach only nominated 2 of her players for all district team and it was 2 that really didn't play much. Then she didn't even vote that for one of the freshman for Baxter or the Matthews kid from Livingston, which are one of the top 5 or 6 players in the district.

I don't know the whole story, but I think it has to do with Dekalb's coach. She hasn't got a clue!

Just wondering if anybody out there has played or watched White County Middle Girls. What is there record? Who have they played? What is there team like this year? Just trying to get some information on them.
