  1. At the end of the 1st quarter, Howard is up 4 (19-15). What are your thoughts and predictions for the remainder of the game?
  2. U're right!! Ta Ta is a little more skillfully talented than Gerald. He plays more positions and does more things than Gerald did. No disrespect to Gerald, he was a great rb and still is to me; Gerald might be a better running back than Ta Ta, but Ta Ta is a better all-purpose player.
  3. What's your thoughts, comments, and predictions on this game? It's senior night for the wildcats and they still have hope of making the playoffs(if they beat RB and Brainerd loses to Central). RB is playing for its 2nd undefeated season of the new century and for the 1st time under Coach Daniels. Will RB give us a taste of what they plan to do in the playoffs? Can Hixson do thier part come out on top, and would it be a upset?
  4. I do see region 4-4a making some noise this year against the usually better knoxville teams. I know Maryville and Knox West still have their normal good squads but im not sure about K. Central and Powell...I believe the Lions can and will make it to the 3rd round. It would be very interesting to see the best of both regions square off. I know RB still would probably be the underdogs with the legacy that Maryville has, but I know the Lions will put a good game and make it a dog fight. However, if the 2 should meet, it will be at RB this year and it might fire the Lions up a little extra. Well, Im jus goin 2 wait til that game comes. As for now, the Lions has to take care of Powell. Does anyone know if Cruze will be healthy enough to play by then? I'd rather see the Lions playing a team with their playmaker so RB can try to contain him because it would prepare them for later playoff games. O yea, GOOD LUCK 2 BRAINERD!!
  5. RB will come to play because they know that they're going to get everyone's A-game from here on out, well they at least expect to. I think the Lions are focused and having a good week of practice so that they can come out and make the seniors proud for their hardwork put in at RB. GOOD LUCK LIONS!! Lets take control of our own destiny!!
  6. The blocked kick wasnt a lineman's fault, Ta Ta just came off the edge and layed out for it. Well, as far as hitting the crossbar for 50 in HS, thats pretty good. Just to let you know, RB's kicker has already hit 1 from 51 yrds out earlier in the season.
  7. Yea, Brainerd jumped and stumped on the RB logo during warm-ups. Aslo, the RB players told me that during warm-ups, one of Brainerd's chants was dissing them. Well, I guess Brainerd got what they asked for!!
  8. Great game 4 the Lions. They were just clicking and the defense dominated, but from what i heard, one of WV coaches told the RB coaches before the game that they had a "HOLE" in their defense & they've found it. Well, it looked to me as whatever "HOLE" they were talking about was filled quickly from start. Im sure you already know that RB took the ball from the Mustangs on their 1st play & asked their coaches, "where's the hole at, coach?" Great game Lions.!!! O yea, big ups to WV's band. They're great. I believe they should be added as one the bands performing at that battle of the bands coming up in 2 weeks.
  9. Its called RED Bank!! That was a scrimmage a month ago and it wasnt a blowout. The 2nd score(the last) shouldnt even have counted but it's all good. Red Bank did have a tough game going against AE and still won. O yea, its hard to post shutouts, especially when playing teams with some good skill players, right? Well Red Bank beat Central by more points than the Owls then and got a shutout!! No disrespect to the Owls but Red Bank is also good and I would leave the poll just as it is, with the Owls behind the Lions, because i think the Lions would come out on top in a real ball game(just my opinion). Well its about 6hrs away from game time and i'll be there front row to watch. Good luck to both teams, but im looking for a pretty good game in the Lions. They should go out and take care of business.
  10. Believe me, RB is that good but depending on how they come back from their bye week will determine how many points they'll put up. Im predicting 44-0.
  11. Well when you have receivers as talented as he does, all you have 2 do is get them the ball in a short pattern & let them get the yards(which is basically the deal). Dont get me wrong, Jake does make some good throws & some good reads, but give credit where credit is due. I mean 5yd catches turn into long TDs. I hope he does continue 2 do some things he's doing but maybe tweak a few because when RB faces some better defenses than those of "soddy & central" they sure will need some good performances out of Jake.
  12. Right now i cant really say but if i had 2 choose, it'll be a last week showdown between Polk & Notre darn again.
  13. Come on now, just be real. Now im not sounding cocky or just giving Red Bank the title at all. Believe me 4-4a is really tough and the winner will not be determined until week 9/10. I think the winner will come down 2 RB, Rhea, & Cleveland & the 3 & 4 spot will be between Hixson, White County, & whom ever doesnt get the 1/2 out of those 3 teams previously mentioned. O yea, I truely believe Ta Ta is much better @ his position than Caleb. If he wasnt, then y has he picked him off every year of high school & makes a big play everytime they play Rhea. Red Bank isn't a 1-man show. RB is full of athletes, Benford, Russell, McDuffie, Staton, Sims, & Landers just to name a few of those. We'll see what happens when Oct. comes, but for now, RB is focusing on the next game. Caleb is good, but Ta Ta is better!!!
  14. I'll be there on Oct. 6, hoping Red Bank comes out on top. I know it'll be close, because the last 2 years its been that way. Cleveland has looked impressive in the 1st few weeks but so has the Lions. As long as everyone can stay focused & healthy, I think the Lions have a good chance. Good luck 2 both 4 a great game 2 come. O yea, Red Bank cant help the way the spectators & media are finally giving them the credit they deserve & I dont mean the way they picked the region but simply recognizing how good the team is. The Lions dont do the judging & pick the spots, they go out & take care of business. If im not mistaken, the past 2 yrs, RB wasnt getting any kind of attention or recognition but 4 the losses.
