  1. I was not as impressed with Cahill on Thursday night as I had expected to be. Stewart and Towner, however had all-state caliber games. But I would still have to say that McCallie's Hayes and Blair may be the best there is
  2. McCallie never hesitates to pull it out first. Their problem is: you never know where their shots will land. 41
  3. neat, perhaps you could give us a name or two? seriously, the suspense is killing me
  4. guilty until proven innocent eh? We have a word for people who don't adhere to or believe in the rights allotted by our constitution and declaration of independence, COMMUNISTS. And while we are on the topic of making assumptions for the rest of the group, I frankly don’t think we need your input on this American game, brothersnv, or should I say JOSEF STALIN. 41
  5. that is a logical assumption bearing in mind that the michigan mauler is not henry kay. 41
  6. C-lax, herein lies the validity of skeeter's posts. Instead of responding with a thoughtful and time worthy post, you have reacted angrily by whining as opposed to establishing any sort of coherent claim. As a matter of future reference, here would be an insightful response, that would be worth both the time to post, and for the rest of the board to read: "I frankly do not agree with Michigan Mauler's previous assertion. (Insert team name here) has a strong enough team to turn some heads. From the games I've seen their (insert part of their program i.e. attack, transition, goalie, defense, clearing etc) is better than any of the eastern teams i've seen play" Take it, its yours, free of charge, try it out, maybe mix it up a bit, atleast our time will no longer be wasted with your insipid and pedantic remarks. Additionally, the reason i put predict in capital letters (which is when all the letters appear to be taller and occasionally in a different style), was because it was merely a prediction. I have learned from a previous post that what, i hope to be anger problems as opposed to stupidity, hinders most western TN players from reading into a prediction as a prediction. See earlier when some guys made the same response to preseason prediction for the state title. Perhaps thats really funny, maybe it still is really funny to respond in an overly whiney manner about someone's prediction because you lack the evidence or overall worth to make a substantiated rebuttal. But funny enough to do it again and again, maybe for the overly immature. Lastly, I'd like to leave you with one last gem, a little pearl of knowledge so you can post something after someone makes a prediction with which you disagree: "I find that prediction to be invalid. (Insert Team name here) does not have the (again insert part of said team's game) to be able to beat (Insert another team's name) when they meet this time. (If you want to get really tricky, you can add the names of players here_____________) is a very solid (insert player's position), i think he can lead (insert his team name) to a victory. (then just for fun, you can put the score which you find to be most probable to occur rigghhhhhhhhhht here_________.) 41
  7. Though i appreciate the politeness in your request, I regret to inform you that you are incorrect in your assumption. I am not henry kay, i am the michigan mauler, enough said
  8. it may not matter in terms of playoff berth, so hey, how bout we call the game off. the east west stuff is not withstanding because there are no solid teams in the west and three good teams in the east (MBA Ravenwood McCallie). I PREDICT that McCallie will win by four against the buzzards and that there will be two teams from the east in the finals. maybe then that game would matter since both the teams will be from the same region, the east. Regards, 41
  9. for any position you just have to get out and watch the guy play. stats can give you a decent idea of what a kid can do, but you can't really see until you actually see him play a game or two
  10. Yeah Tom Jackson is money, he can shut down just about any offensive gun. any other players look to be all american favorites, or even allstate or anything. Its almost april and hardly anyone has been talking trash. I mean BBQ and coacht, thats what tennessee does.
  11. Lets hear a round of applause for the comments of a genuinely nice guy! I love you man! Henry
  12. ok, then, the rest of the McCallie commnunity and myself have to be curious what IS mus going to do to make the utterance of a mccallie victory so ludicrous? Maybe you'll graduate 8 some starters from the 2 time state runner up team, compared to mccallie graduating 4 starters from a 2 time state championship team. your confidence begs me to ask for you to indulge us on your apparently foolproof plans.
  13. I was beginning to wonder what MUS kids would post about now that gibson has graduated. Apparently they will fill the boards with incessent whining about the fact that they have no team this year since they have relied on one guy the last 3 years..... interesting strategy.
  14. McCallie won all their scrimmages at their Jamboree Ravenwood had an impressive showing going 3-1 Im not sure about Webb's, Farragut's, and USN's records
  15. Thats a very good schedule for a team that was d2 last year. I think you'd be a fool to not expect some great things from Ravenwood's team this year. All their florida games would be good to see
  16. I hear that theyre moving some of their middies to attack. but what do they look like on defense, it seems like they graduated most of those guys too
  17. those who do not wish to call me the michigan mauler, may call me bobby mercer
  18. A man who knows a thing or two about a thing or two
  19. Good for MUS, Nothing like Dean McNasty driving the bus to bring out the best in Road Trips.
  20. hopefully your lack of prowess in prose is in no way representative of MUS's talent this year. Frankly speaking, I'd my money on CBHS as the team to beat from the West.
  21. Yes, and with that being said, McCallie has had and will continue to have the strongest schedule because they are willing to travel and play games. Our location may make a trip to Atlanta or North Carolina more feasible than for MUS or MBA, but only slightly. We are still constantly on the bus with the Dean of Doughnuts / Skull Caps/ Beefwater/ Otis Spunklemeyer Muffins, every weekend.
  22. MUS is playing Dublin Coffman and Neuqua Valley, 832 and 781 last year respectively, according to laxpower's national rankings. That surely trumps McCallie playing Gilman who was 31st last year. I apologize for thinking McCallie had the strongest schedule. It only took me 2 minutes to look up those numbers and see the fact that you have no factual support whatsoever, which was 2 minutes you could have spent to realize you shouldn't have posted on this board.
  23. No one can subdue the mighty big blue go naders back to back to
  24. McCallie is looking pretty strong this year with a solid group of seniors and juniors. it seems like theyve even found some guys to put between the pipes. they easily have the toughest schedule in tennessee if not the south, so well have to see how they handle themselves against teams like gilman
