Rickman girls won the KY tournament and Mckenzie Sells was named MVP. They didn't give out individual awards.

Class A Kayla Hudson Class AA Delk or Roney Class AAA Lanning Those are my predictions.

Congrats to all nominees.Not sure who will win this one as I haven't seen Delk or Roney play. Don't think Ferris will win though since she is only a Freshman.

Has anyone heard how Dunn's ankle is?? Will he be able to play Tuesday night? That will determine who the winner of this game will be. Kendra Kilgore / LA does an excellent job coming off the bench and should even be starting but I suppose since she is only a sophomore her time will come...... keep up the hard work Kendra,you're doing a heck of a job!! Said it before so I'll say it again!!

I disagree with the post that was against individual awards. If someone works as hard as they can and does a good job then shouldn't they be given the raise?? Same thing in basketball my friend..if you're deserving then you should be rewarded for your effort. Ferris is gonna be a great player, just not hardley there yet and I understand she is a freshman but still...with her height she should have x number of shots and x number of blocks. No one else in this district even comes close to her height but put her against someone her own size and see how impressive she is.

I have to agree with the previous post....Alison West/LA should have gotten that. She works her tail off on defense and does an excellent job. She is always in the right spot at the right time for the rebound.

Great game tonight by both teams....that was really fun to watch. I was surprized that Upperman got beat to be honest.But, I'm glad they did. Anyone can be beat on a given night.This was just LAs night.Proud of you girls.....way to play!! Go HOG-EYE.

Well obviously you werent at the la game at upperman, what was the score? Like 70-56 for the girls? i think that was it. oh wait we cant forget about the boys 67-62. That means LA is winless versus Upperman this year, who would have thunk it Tonight you won't be so cocky...............................WAIT and SEE!!

Jim Brown...Jackson County...very great coach and he brings the best out in any player.

Definitely,AA - Matthews/Livingston Academy,she is a true player and a super nice person. AAA - either Lanning or Pubelo,no bad choice there. A- Hudson all the way,another nice young lady. Regardless of who is nominated,all of the above mentioned should be very proud and hold their heads high. Great players!! Where does the Roney girl play at? What grade is she in? I have never heard of her.

First off to you,Mr King, I wasn't making fun of anyones health.Just being realistic.I don't think she anticipated being whooped that bad,just a shocker for her and naturally embarrassment. Since LA will be playing on homecourt the next time they meet, I'm gonna say LA by 10. LA has to find the right defense to stop Upperman from shooting the three though.

Sells and Mayo will be very helpful to the LA team in the near future. Although, one or two can't do it alone.....which is what I meant about getting beat much worse next year.Upperman has several talented girls compared to other schools within the district.The grade schools which feed LA are lacking talent and height. Both factors for a successful high school team.I would love to see LA beat the tar out of Upperman but it ain't gonna happen this year or the next or the next.

Good job lady bees, you played very well as I expected you to. I was hoping for this to be a closer game though. Upperman has way more talent than Livingston. I saw that for myself. They have a group of 5 very talented girls compared to LA's 2 or 3. As for the coach, I think she was shocked that LA got beat that bad. Will be much worse next year.

LA can beat Upperman, just don't know if they will. I think its a mind game with these girls. The last post said that LA only beat Pickett Co by 3,but mind you,they were up by as many as 16 and what happens, they let Pickett get within 2. We can't seem to hold the lead on anyone for some odd reason... But, I am going to say LA will win this one by 3 or 4,depending on the defense of LA and the shooting of Matthews and West. Will be a good game from start to finish.
