Alison West and Ashley Matthews both from Livingston Academy have signed to play basketball with Cumberland University.

The only three I remember are: Alison West-LA Mallie Stephens-LA Jennifer Maynord-Upperman Congrats to each of these young ladies on a great season.

AA-Livingston Academy made their run this year and unfortunatley will not be returning for several years to come.

Alison West did have a great tournament. She hustled both games and had was shooting good. Ashley Matthews,who normally leads in scoring,had off games. Nothing seemed to go right for her. If she had hit at least half of her shots as she had typically done the outcome would have been different. Good luck to both these girls as they continue their career at Cumberland University...Go Bulldogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to say congrats to LA for even coming this far. You gave it all you had,most of the shots wouldn't fall and thats part of it.You should be proud of your accomplishments this year as I am. Some girls never get to play at State and you all made it. Thanks for a great season and I wish all the seniors the best of luck in whatever they chose to do.

I am betting that Northside beats Upperman........by alot!! Just wish I could be there to see it. Upperman having to play at a different location other than on home court will mess them up big time. Congrats to Chase Dunn on scoring his 1000th career point in the last game of the season. Its a shame he wasn't recognized and will have to wait till next year to do so. Congrats to a good year and look forward to seeing this bunch next year.

How bout GO-HOGEYE!! Everyone of the girls that get playing time are gonna have to step it up!! Play hard or you'll be going home!!!Seniors, this could be it,is that what you want?? Or do you have something to prove?? I hope and pray you all pull this one out. Don't let the losses to Upperman get you down,pick it up....use that as motivation.
