Yes, Flight and Wings have played twice. Once in Super Regional Final and another time in Substate Final. Could we both meet again in the State Finals? Not really going get involved in this thread but Tennessee Flight is really looking foward to this weekend. CPG knows exactly what he is doing when he post on here. He has for years downgraded Shelbyville and seems to continue to downgrade them. If Tiffany is so great and YES we do have respect for her as a coach then who taught her alot of what she knows. If Shelbyville is so bad then why did Tiffany parents bring her to high school in Shelbyville, if Sport Shop is so bad then why did Tiffany play AAU for them all the way through. I am not going get into why Tiffany is not coaching in the Sport Shop program and I know for fact that Tiffany don't want me to get into it either. It highly upset our program heads over here to know that Tiffany for the past years have let her parents get on here and trash the program that she was apart of for many years. Yes, I said my comments cause it seems that alot of people forget that their was a program before Tiffany came and their is still one now she is gone. I am happy for her success and hope she continues to do well but why allow your supporters to trash what you were apart of for many years is over my head. It not only is showing disrepect to the many players that are playing in the program now but we have had players from the past that played before Tiffany started playing for Sport Shop / Eaglettes express their thoughts on the way she handles her self towards the program that she grew up playing for. Many Sport Shop / Eaglette supporters and many ex players have been told to keep their thoughts to their self by Sport Shop officials about Tiffany and her conduct towards the program. CPG you love to sit behind your screen name and hide up in the crowd at games behind the other parents. We have a kid in our program that was with Tiffany last year and she loves it with us. Nothing has been said to the kid at all about Tiffany or her experience with her cause we could care less but this kid and her parents love playing in our program and speak openly about it, so get over it cause we always have been and always will be the best when it comes to summer basketball. One last comment: Need to stop worrying about getting players from other teams to join up with your program and worry about how many parents on your team this year have already contacted Sport Shop officials about joining up next year. Let me tell you these two players will be deeply missed!!!!!!

I do not have the results for the age groups. I did not run this tourney but just coach a team. Now you did attack my program. You said that your glad you didn't return and it was a great decision. What did SSS do so wrong to make you have bad feeling about our program. I never once said your daughter was a project. Not me or noone else in our program. If your on our team then we think of you as one of the top in the state. We did all we could do to make your and your daughter experience a good one and it seems we failed in that from your comments yesterday and I stated a response to what you said. Was it a shot at you and your daughter NO. We called you and invited you back and you all never returned our call so we took it as you didn't want to play and our program went on. Not just your daughter but any kid that decides not to play for our program, we don't sit around and cry about it and beg them we move on and don't worry about it. If you took me as a jumping you and your daughter then you took me totally wrong and I am sorry. I said several times in my post that I wish you and your daughter all the luck in the world. We did all we could do to help you and it seems we failed so best of luck to you in the future coming from the whole SSS organization. thumb

I am the coach of that team and my memory is correct. I am looking at the book from that game right now. Every main player on our team either fouled out or had 4 fouls. I got a T twice that week for mockery of the game. I have been around basketball a long time and never heard that called. The reason was cuase of still trying to score after being up by a big margin. In AAU you got a 30 sec shot clock so you still have to score. Every other time I played pride that year it was a blowout. I didn't get on here and complain about the officials after that game I just went on with my busisness. So yes, my memory still serves me correct.

I don't believe that a word has been said negative to you or your daughter since you left our program. We were glad that you all played with us last year and when you decided not to return we lost not a second of sleep. To think that we out against you makes me fall out of my chair laughing. I could care less about you all playing for us. Now what your problem is with SSS, I have no clue. From talking to you last year throughout the summer you were saying the same stuff your saying on here about SSS about teams in Memphis even one you play on now! Our program does not revolve around one player playing or not playing with us. Yes, One of the officials is a distance cousin of Tom Insell. He is also a NCAA official and called games in the Womens NCAA tournament this year and travels in the summer and ref at AAU Nationals all summer. Now which is the coaches roommate? Due to the coach of that team is Tom Insell and still lives at home with his Dad and Mom. Jim Brown the other coach of that team lives in Jackson County and lives by himself. To let you know when you come to the state these three officals will be calling that whole weekend due to the same person that assigned the officials for this past weekend will be doing the same in May. Now for the Team Pride team. I was at that game and the final foul total was 23 fouls called againist TN Team Pride and 16 called againist SSS Nike. That came straight from the official book. TN Team Pride fouled numerous times in the past 2 min hoping that SSS Nike would miss so they could get back in the game. So if you take the fouls called on TN Team Pride in the last two min off then I would guess the fouls could have easily been 18 to 16. That is about as fair as you can get without having it 18 to 18 and you never see a game like that. Now if you want to talk about cheating. I took my 15 under National Title team over to M'Boro Super Regional last year. I played TN Team Pride in the finals of that tourney. My team had 6 players foul out and their were 24 more fouls called on my team than the TN Team Pride team. Did I sit on the bench and cry, NO. I kept coaching my team and played through it and won the game by 3 points. Did my parents sit in the crowd and cry and cuss at the officals like what happen yesterday, NO. So lets don't talk about bad officials. I have been over to tourneys at Hooptown and sit their and watch them pull the janitor out from cleaning the bathroom and come out and ref a game. That is no lie saw it with my own eyes.

I said it before and will say it again I was not at the game. I felt like West TN Tigers was the best team in the 13 under tourney. #3 Lauren is the best player in the state of TN and maybe one of the tops in the country. From what I heard she put on a show in the finals. I can't wait to see the tape of the game to see her play. I was not downgrading the kid that got the T. I was just stating exactly what I heard. Good Luck in May and I will stick around and watch the game this time if SSS Nike plays West TN Tigers again. I am glad that your happy with the West TN Tigers. I was not at the game but saw how Shelbyville played all weekend up till the championship and when you play a soft man to man defense you don't get alot of fouls called on you. I saw the West TN Tigers play and they play really physical so I can see where alot of fouls were called on them. Shelbyville had their two best players foul out of the game and another kid with 4 fouls while Memphis only had 1 player foul out and she got her last foul cause of running mouth to the ref and she got a T. Now for you saying your never coming back to Shelbyville to play? Are you planning on playing in the AAU State? The 13 under State tourney is played at Shelbyville and Motlow. Matter of Fact the 13 under state title game will be played at Shelbyville Central High School. You won the game. Congrats you have a great team and your coaches do a outstanding job. Spree your exactly right, we had some teams that backed out at the last minute for different reason. We can not control that but every age group has National Level teams atteding and seems to be the most competitive super regional ever. Ptguard12 you seem to know alot about aau girls basketball. If your around this weekend look me up and we can talk. I coach the Flight 16 under team.

Robpride you can argue alot of the players on the list but you argueing about KeKe Stewart making it, makes me laugh . Yes, she didn't lead her team to the State Tournament but how do you argue her when every time she went out this year she was guarded by three. Argue some of the other players but noway you can argue Stewart. Alot of the voters for all state team have never seen alot of the players play but get what the coaches say about them and use that to help them vote. I think Ogan should have been on the list but not having a good state tourney could have hurt her but she still should have been on the list.

Tennessee Team Pride 13 under is coming both weekends. They will be in Shelbyville this weekend and next weekend.

The official count of teams in the Sport Shop Super Regional is 74 teams. Their is going to be two teams in every age group get a automatic bid to the AAU Nationals. In the 12 and 13 under age divisions their is 16 teams each with there being 6 teams in the 13 under age group that finished in the top 16 in the Nation. Should be a very exciting weekend of basketball. The brackets will be drawn on Wednesday night and realeased on www.showtimebball.com sometime on Thursday. If you love watching good basketball then you need to make plans on being in Shelbyville April 1-3.

Lauren Avant is the best player in the state in the 13 and 12 year old age group. Enough Said!!! Laquinta is a really good player that is very very special but Avant is proven by leading her team to a top 5 finish playing up a year

NO we don't have three 6'4 kids. We do have a 6'5 kid and she has got ALOT BETTER. Our 13 under team is going be a good team with alot of the same kids back from last year with the addition of 4 new kids. They are playing next weekend in Showtime Shootout.
