  6. In our program also, NO ONE has ever been excluded due to not having finances
  7. Been doing really good. Really looking foward to the summer and getting our teams started. Hope things are going well for your team this summer.
  8. Once all your kids are done playing their middle school seasons you can officially start practice in the younger ages. In the older ages your kids have to be done with their High School seasons.
  9. Congrats Brandi and can't wait to get the chance to coach you this coming summer. Keep up the good work and can't wait to get started next month.
  10. I laugh at this post. Mooney is a nice player but come on lets don't get carried away. Pat already has McMahan, which is the best in the 2006 class.
  11. Did Cleveland beat Walker Valley this year? I think they did but not forsure. I also think that Shelbyville beat Cleveland so I don't think you need to be talking about Walker Valley and Shelbyville in same sentence since you got blasted by 25 by Cleveland. Also in that game Cleveland put their subs in late and you left your starters in so you could catch up and make it respectable. Yes, I do have a awesome deal with "THE" Shoe Company.
  12. To be honest, I am just not sold on them. I have watched several of the top AA teams in the state play and Walker Valley in my mind is not near the team of the other teams. Do I think they will make the State, YES. The best AA ball in the state is Upper Cumberland but it is down a bit this year so they will be able to win their substate game. Do I see them having a chance once they get there, NO. Just my opinion. WV has one good player but good players can only take you so far. Butler will get them to the state due to the teams they will be playing on their road there are weak but once they get there reality will set and WV will enjoy there one day stay in M'Boro.
  13. Considering that I have seen both of them play this year they are alot better than Walker Valley. I watched Walker Valley in Greeneville and also three times since then and they have not done anything to make me think they will win AA State. I get tired of hearing how WV about beat MJ. MJ played the worse game of the year and still easily handle WV. The game never got closer than 8 and it was like MJ toyed with WV the whole game, they would let them get close then MJ would push it out to a 15 to 20 point lead. Get over it you play in a weak area for AA basketball and since you beat everyone by 20 to 40 points you think your good when your really just a really nice team. Martin Westview and Cheatham both of whom I have seen are alot better teams. Also I can't wait when you go AAA and you have to travel to "Rick Grill" for your substate game and you get your lesson in Basketball 101. AA State Title Game: Martin Westview - Coached by the "Wizard of Westview" Kevin McMillian vs Cheatham County - Coached by " The General" Phil Carr
  14. I have seen Walker Valley play several times this year and I don't see them winning the AA State. Not very impressed with them at all. Butler is a nice player but not the type that can lead a team to a State Title. AA State Champs will be either Cheatham County or Martin Westview. You heard it here first from me and remember who said it first when it happens.
  15. Once again it is a great honor to congratulate one of my AAU players on a awesome achievement. Keep up the good work
  16. I talk to Cait last night and she is excited about the game. I didn't tell her either way who I thought would win and I am not cheering for either team, just want both of my players to play well. Good luck to both but I had a feeling all year that they would split in the regular season and who knows what will happen in the tournaments.
  17. I think this is going be a very hard fought game with Oak Ridge pulling it out in the end. Oak Ridge will figure out a way to get KeKe involved in this game and unless Powell can find a way to start to get Holifield more involved, I don't see them making it very far againist good competition. Good luck to both teams and exspecially to my two aau girls KeKe Stewart and Caitlin Holifield.
  18. Clark is a nice player but lets don't get carried away. KeKe Stewart is the best post player in the state of Tennessee. No questions asked. I would put Clark as the third best post player behind KeKe Stewart and Jessica Jackson. Clark will probably win Miss Basketball since she plays on the best team in the state and is their best player. If you want to talk about who has put up the best numbers then you would have to say Cait McMahan. She is nearly averaging a triple double.
