c-rep thanx and we'll be looking for ya'll to make some noise...good luck... now about the game i agree with some post already on here jc just seem to want it more than SOME of our guys.. also i think we got outcoached the 1 post player we had who was very effective played maybe a minute in the 4 quarter and our starting point guard didn't even play in the 4th quarter oh well... good luck to whoever comes out should be 4 really great games... go represent region 4 and ya'll show these folks from west tn we can still play bball here too... will keep on watching and talking to you... devilfanatic sorry we didn't hold up our end to see 3...good luck tonite and maybe we'll met somewhere else... on to baseball !!!

congrads to tc for represent ditrict 8 well... i stillbelieve district 7 sweeps the girls bracket though

don't think the finish matters evey year they rotate from baxter to w-town district 7 host 1 year district 8 the next

pitching will be a lot deeper with sledge, ray, as 1&2 with williams and sircy and then there are 2 transfers that are trying for a pitching spot in pryor and mixson...in center alsup was there yesterday in a scrimmage against hendersonville ( when i left in the top of the last inning fcs was leading 4-2 ) so i think overall they should be as good as last year.

i want to know what the crowd was like... since we play the last game i wondered if anyone left last nite or was it full 'til the end... thanx for the info

well looks like district 7 came to w-town to play some bball !!! sweeps last nite in boys AND girls ... congrads to clay county and cr now let's talk about tonite... girls distrct 7 will be playing itself to see who advance no district 8 girls will even come close... i said earlier i believe the 2 best 1st round boys matchups were tonite and i still believe that trousdale will have to have the same hot shooting nite they had against g'ville in district to stay with pickett but they can win this if it is close going into the 4th quarter if pickett starts off hot early they can put this one away... fcs and jackson shapes up to be the closest game to me... fcs will have to have BIG game from the post if they do their size and depth could be the keys to a win if jackson hangs around that could be trouble... this could be the game to keep district 7 from sweeping the region. good luck to everyone... how crowded was it last nite ?? i know i am getting ther early to get a seat!!!

I won't pick the whole tourney only first round and i think it will be a district split.. West. vs. CR I'm taking West by 7 Clay vs. G'ville Clay by 11 but close until half time Pickett vs. TC think these last 2 best of the 1st round TC plays tough but Pickett will play tougher ... Pickett by 8 Friendship vs Jackson I believe this may be the best of the first round games...I believe Jackson is rolling and FCS may be a little down after the loss to West. close , physical game FCS by 4 I was really wrong last week and could be again but that's 1 man's opinion and we all know what people say about opinion's...! I really wish you all luck and we will see you in W-town

oh don't worry c-dawg your not rid of me that easy!!! westmoreland played a better game and deserved to win ( except for the "flops" ) and since i've read this whole thread i'm gonna address a few things... i agree 7a is where the tradition is and probaly has been tougher all year but i still think this will be a great tourney. i agree with some don't count any one out from 8a yet. although i think g'ville will really have to get some breaks and a lot of luck.. but i believe the other 3 games are going to be good games. i understand people think fcs is rude but i have been to games not envolving fcs and other teams fans do the same cheers we do (start the bus... overrated ... etc...) but no one makes a big deal unless it's fcs. i understand the way people see private schools and i EXPECT everyone to join together and cheer against fcs, but i can asure you our coaches have already addressed this with the team and they know it's coming. great motivational tool !!! oh and c-dawg i wasn't where i could get to posting 'cuz when we lose i don't make excuses i say congrads to westmoreland and hope we get another shot at them. good luck to everyone from Region 4 hope the top 2 do well who ever they are. see ya in W-town... oh and df if you see this i hope we can meet this week

Does any one have any salt to go with this crow??? I was 0 for 2 last nite.... Trousdale held on for a 55-52 win over G'ville And FCS lost to Westmoreland 54-50 We [FCS] just didn't play our best and Westmoreland kids played their butts off.. it seemed like they wanted more.... the Westmoreland "flop " was alive and well as 7 charges were called against FCS... but our guys knew that and Westmoreland came to play. Congrads to the Eagles they deserve the win and good luck to everyone in regions next week!!

Isn't it great to have a fired up student body cheering for there team ?? GO COMMANDER CRAZIES!! And the burgers are preety good. I think ther will be plenty of room but I sure do agree about the parking... had to walk in the rain Wed. nite NOT FUN!

GAME NITE!!! I am ready to see 2 very good games. I'll stick to my picks... G'ville over Trousdale in a pretty easy win .... and FCS over Westmoreland in a close game for 3 1/2 quarters SEE YA IN W-TOWN.

Again another west tn crower to mess up a classy post!!! Congrads to both Grace and Temple. Temple seems to be getting better as the season goes on. Oh and sometimes low scores in rivalry games means some teams know how to play DEFENSE. Good luck to both teams and congrads to Temple on a big win. Hopefully we will see one of you in sub-state.
