  1. Does anyone know the schedules for 2007 for either of these schools?
  2. Is Mowery going to be the coach next year? Heard he had a lot of administration or school responsibilities? Not trying to start rumors....just curious!
  3. They(the powers of Dunlap) had an opportunity to hire a experienced head coach but choose to go with the young and unexperienced coach. I am sure he will do better with experience. So will the kids playing at Sequatchie County.
  4. Let's look at this scenario? Say Pruitt goes back to Plainview? Who would be in line for the Marion County job? Would Bill be approached or would he apply? Is it time for Kirkpatrick to be a head coach? Would they consider bringing Taylor back? These were his assistants too as far as I can remember? Everyone that post on here says he is a good coach. He is a Marion County boy too! So he would probably stay. What did they have against him? His record and Pruitts are almost the same after the first two years (14-9, 13-8). Would the people of Jasper accept him back, or who do they want. Those people need to realize that Eric Westmoreland, etc. come once in a lifetime for a coach. When we played them his teams were always prepared and in shape. If the Jasper people would have give him a chance he would probably still be there. Let's here it!! Who will be next??
  5. You know these boards can really be funny at times. The know it alls giving there expert knowledge. I have looked at these boards for years and really never had the urge to give my thoughts on a subject. It looks like you guys have the job already given out and the interviews haven't even started from what I understand. The names that have been mentioned so far could and would be good choices (most of them anyway). This is clearly my thoughts, so don't anyone take this to heart. I think the best choice is already at Sequatchie County High School. When this man was a head coach before he won under very tough circumstances. If the community had supported him instead of living in the past he probably would have won even bigger. Communities can make or break a coach! Now I say this with all due respect to the other names being mentioned. I am not giving my thoughts to point fingers or disrespect anyone. I am just saying don't be surprised if the administration and community are looking real hard at someone on the staff and already a part of there faculty and community. This is just what I think. Good luck to whomever is the next head football coach at Sequatchie County High School!!
