That really surprises me. I watched half of this game and it looked pretty even. Was this also due to the fact that Catholic didn't have their starting keeper? Haha Notre Dame also didn't play to great in this tournament either, even though most of their starters weren't playing.

Notre Dame plays a totally different game when its not at their small home field. They possesss the ball from the wings and come from the sides. It is something that makes their offense a lot more effective.

I thought ND's keeper had a fine game. I saw the Irish earlier this year and thought maybe they were missing someone in the middle tonight. Does any one know? Jon Reinert was the player missing from ND....he will most likely be returning before Thursday's games vs. Catholic. But anyways, both teams played great in this game. Baylor dominated the majority of the first half, ND dominating most of the second half. It would be interesting to see these two teams play again. Honestly, one of the most well matched soccer teams I could possibly put together.

I'm really looking forward to playing in this game. I've heard so much about how good CBHS is and this is a great chance for Notre Dame to prove how good they can be.

I think it helps Catholic that its at their home...but I'm going to say 2-0 Notre Dame. And to answer your question, Notre Dame is solid this year with 8 seniors and a deep bench. They have lost to McMinn County 1-0, and out-shooting them 34-3, and they also lost to Father Ryan 2-1, which was a hard faught game. ND lost both of those games in the first 40 minutes...they just dont come out as hard as I'd like to see them. Hopefully that'll change by Thursday though.

I know that CBHS is probably the best team in the state....but i have faith that Notre Dame can pull of a win if they play their game. What do you all think? The game is tomorrow at 4:45 at Oak Ridge Highschool.

The only one of the kids that I have seen play that you mentioned it Patrick Kelley. He's awesome for his age but i still think that kevin is probably the best sophmore in the state. I'm pretty sure he's playing midfield for Notre Dame this year and not defense. He plays on the '89 ODP team also. He's an incredible player.

Not meaning to be biased towards my school.... but Kevin Abell is an incredible Sophmore defender. By far one of the best in my opinion. Has anyone seen him play?

I am new to the Notre Dame team and this year they have a great chance at winning state. I think it will be CAK vs. ND in the finals, though I would love for it to be Catholic vs. ND.
