GOOD JOB JACKETS!! It's also the weekend for the SHS Class of 96 Reunion

I'll be there for the homecoming game next week. It's the same weekend of the 1996 Class Reunion.

I know it's Rossview's homecoming! Is there is a good crowd from both sides?

Well, it seems like Clarksville has been struggling some. They barely beat Rossview two weeks ago.

If Springfield and Kenwood keep playing well, that game could determine the region champ.

It's sounds like the defense is playing better tonight.

This may sound weird but, I think the best (not in this order) are Regions 2, 4, 6, and 8. These are even-numbered regions.

Clint Satterfield - Trousdale County Rod Sturdivant - Bruceton Tom Adkins - Jo Byrns Kirk Williams - Greenbrier Jeff Chatman - East Robertson

Kenwood and Springfield. If these two teams keep playing good football, this game could determine the winner in Region 6-4A.

I have to agree with this post after reading it over and over again. Back in the day, I remember watching BA dominate in multiple classifications (AA, 4A, 5A and DII-AAA). However, they never won a state title when they were 4A. They played a tough schedule and would dominate their opponents. And they still do. I guess the same goes for MBA. I like the fact they play a tough schedule and are very competitive. And we all know about Riverdale. The '94 team was one of the best when they had Alvin Duke and Gerald Griffin (didn't they play that year?). From time to time they played some pretty tough out of state teams (like last year when they played Worthington Kilbourne out of Ohio). Very good high school football in Ohio. Maryville maybe dominant in 4A but they need to be challenged and go to the next level. I would like to see them play at least a decent 5A team, and beat them.

I would have to say Region 7-5A is the weakest region followed by 3-5A.

I think Springfield needs to get back to some fundamentals on how to handoff the ball on offense. And yes, the secondary and special teams needs some work. What caused the Springfield to almost get ejected? Was there a good crowd at the game?

Every now and then, I would just like to see Maryville play tougher opponents out of their region, not saying Alcoa is not tough.

There are some teams who are good, but the West is usually the weakest of all the three divisions in football. As for Maryville, I know they're really good but could someone who really keeps up with them tell me are they really challenged? I know you can't change the teams in your region, but they could schedule some tougher non-region opponents. It seems to me like Class 4A in East TN is pretty weak. Well to me, 4A is kinda weak statewide. Don't you see the same teams make it to the championship game almost every year? Maryville, Hillsboro, and Melrose?

Good point! The band director needs to know what's going on in the game.

Looks like Rossview has improved from last year. They gave Clarksville a good game two weeks ago, so I wouldn't take any region game lightly. But, SHS should win on Friday. BTW, Is it me or is Clarksville struggling so far?

I can see MJ winning this one by at least 2 TDs.
