Pigeon Forge will be in alteast the top two or three in the state by the end of the year, if not state champs. Being from Unicoi we played them in the regional championship last year and they are as tough as they come. Tyler Cannon is one of the best solid "ballplayers" there is. I played with him at numerous showcaseslast year and the kid can flat out ball. Not to mention they were state runner ups and with that experience and thier great coach, they have high expectations , from me atleast !! good luck

when i said you should come to erwin more often i wasn't talking about the basketball part i was saying that if you come to erwin , and say stuff like you said last post, you could coun tyour teeth on one hand, and you know it if you came to last years game!!

The legendary baseball coach for Unicoi Co. was elected to the TSSAA Hall of Fame this past week. Overall record - 519-175 4 State Titles (84, 91, 92, 95) 13 straight state appearances 6 nationally ranked teams (#1 in 1985)

EXACTLY... A victory dance, that is a good way to put it, again, I never said it had ANYTHING to do with intimidation, just that is was very original and cool !!! Always leave it to Sullivan Central fans to stick their noses in everybody's business ans get stuff started...just like when they went to the Devils Den last year and started mess that evidently got some thug kids arrested and about beat to death by Erwin fans....WHEW, dont mess with 'dem good ol' boys..

the crown surfing thing was at the end of the game, after Unicoi had locked up the win. That is not intimidating, but the whole game they were literally making our South Greene boys look scared! One kid even puked all over the floor and they had to stop the game....no joke.......now that is intimidation for ya!!!

i was in Unicoi Co. the other night for the South Greene game and that was the most intimidating student section i have ever saw. when the game was almost over, the students literally crowd surfed one student to the top of the bleachers, and then back down, it was truly amazing. i would hate to be an opposing player trying to make a shot with the "Blue Nation" all up in my ear.

#1... The conference will be very competitive this year as always. The obvious pick for #1 is Happy Valley, but will they actually live up to the hype? I think so. Nobody, and I mean nobody in the conference will touch Todd Caldwell, and nobody will hit more home runs than Ricky Morgan. Lets just see if they play as a team this year. #2... Elizabethton will have alot of experience of not to mention of great new coach. That is what they have needed for a long time. #3... Unicoi Co. lost 8 starting position players and 2 starting pitchers, but its Unicoi and come tourney time they can beat anybody. But after after losing several of the best players in the area (Ben Peterson-Milligan, Chase Whitson-ETSU, Ryan Corn-Tusculum and alot more) they will have alot of shoes to fill, but are very capable of doing that just because its Unicoi. #4... Johnson County, goin out on a limb here. they have always had those upset games that shook up the conference, and this year will be the best for the boys of mountain city #5... South Greene, dont know much about them, other than they were young and they made it to the regionals. #6... Chuckey Doak #7... Sullivan North, with the loss of Hinkle, they will have a hard time winning games. #8... West Greene
