I would love to see a match-up between the coach of the year and the one they gave the plaque to. maybe the winner keeps the award.

Maybe smarter to lose this one and stay out of Goodpasture draw in region.

I don't know if this had to do with anything, but both LA and Upperman lost in district tournament second round. Individual awards are nice, but the state is where it matters. Both of these teams coaches have won states and should have known to keep the focus on the court, not the trophies!

It should have been clear who the coach of the year was. Not even close. Shame on all the coaches that think a team that was picked 2nd finishes under .500 with a weak schedule should get COY when LA was by far the cream of the crop. District Tourney will sort things out. Back room dealings and politics aside. Sort it out on the court.
