Second, I was very suprised that Ryan was able to handle MBA so easily. I apologize to anyone I may have insulted when I gave my prediction earlier. I guess that is why I gave up making predictions last year. Congratulations to Ryan. They played a great game and deserved to win. I feel badly for MBA, though. I don't believe that they are 3 goals worse than Ryan and I hope they have a good showing on Friday. No need to apologize for making a wrong predition, who cares, you guessed wrong, everyone on here does it multiple times, should be a heated final between Ryand and BGA though, looking forward to it.

Predictions arent bad, I agree with BGA being the favorite, but I dont agree with a 3-0 win, maybe a little closer, but I think that if your scenario plays out with Ryan and BGA in the final, Ryan will win 2-1, that game could go OT.

Yeah, over the past few years they played both BGA and Ryan, why not this year?

Brentwood, lets not even begin to talk about people trying to compare teams to them, they dont play anybody, they might be solid, but maybe if they played good teams on a consistent basis they should be mentioned, BGA would beat Brentwood by a goal or 2.

The Sunday or Saturday Tennessean has it the other way, oh well

Yeah, a lot of teams may be playing better than Ryan right now, but I think what he is getting at is that when it comes playoff time, the reigning champ is going to bring it, and not go down w/o a fight, they also will have the experience factor of having been in the big games before. This is also what I think of Brentwood, although his point of them playing a week schedule is key. The difference in Ryan and Brentwood is that Ryan actually plays good teams on a consistent basis. About MBA, I think that they are a year away from being "the team."

How is the region tourney shaping up now. I figure with the MBA win they are the #1 seed with #2 being BGA, #3 being JP2, and #4 being Ryan. What does everyone see happening here. I personally would love to see a Ryan-MBA rematch. I see that game as a toss-up if it gets to that, but I see BGA rolling through their side of the bracket to the finals. Your thoughts?

A few questions what team do you/your brother play for, what did he say, and just because a kid on the other team talked to your brother makes him R.O.B.? I just dont know man.

there's no tellin, I have almost come to the realization that he says he is on Ryan's team but is not. He usually posts before big games, and I think he does it to get the other teams fired up to beat Ryan.

I think BGA still has to play JP2 and Ryan still has to play MBA this should be a fun week next week. On the throw-in goal i really couldnt see what happened, looked like a wrestling match inside the 6 with a Ryan player waiting for the ball to fly over everyone back side.

I went to this game b/c when these to play it always gets heated and its fun to watch. It was hard fought as always, but I thought that BGA got away with an offsides call on the first goal, there was no body withing about 3 or 4 yards at least from #12 and he seemed to have healed it in. All in all, I thought it was a good game, and I hope they play again.

Yeah, I think that the next couple of days will be very interesting, JP2 vs. BGA at JP2, and I believe that this is the weekend that Ryan plays McAllie and Baylor. And if the Ryan-McAllie game is anything like last years, it will be nothing short of amazing, if any players want to give input on what happend last year and what might happen now, that would be great.

I am not sure about the byes, I know that looking at last years schedules that Ryan was the 1 seed and played a first round game against St. Andrews Sewanne, and there is no way they beat anybody. So unless someone forefeits, I dont think anyone gets a bye. On a side note, this is one of the craziest years for balance in the mid region I have seen in a long time. Usually there are 1 or 2 teams at the top another 2 in the middle of the road, and the bottom feederes everyone beats up on, I am still looking for that this year, but I think its great.

Yeah great game, I think Ryan should have won though. They missed a 1on1 with the keeper and had 2 or 3 go off the post.

I'll take McCallie by a goal in this one, I think they are a very solid team, and I think they would probably be defending champs right now if they could have held on for 30 more seconds against Ryan last year. Solid team with a strong mid-field, should be fun to watch.

should be a good one, but I thought that I heard somewhere that Randolphs best player, and Under 20 National Team member was finished with them for the season, if this is true it would probably really hurt Randolph. Any Ryan players know if this is true since they recently played them?

I will have to agree with that, if I recall correctly, 2 years ago BGA beat Ryan bad in the regular season about 6 or 7-0 and then in the region championship, BGA won 1-0 in a game that probably could have gone either way, It seems to me from past years that after Ryan's coach plays a team once, he will beat them the second time, or the game will be down to the wire. They did the same thing last year beating CBHS and Mcallie after losing to them earlier in the year.

Correct me if I am wrong, but, I thought the kid who got the red was given a double yellow, therefore he would get a sub, wouldnt he?

Saw the score was 1-0, any details on the game? Seems like these two always have good battles against each other, and it is nothing but good for Middle TN soccer when these two are playing well.
