I predict: OZ - 20 Coalfield - 14

Wartburg did a great job with OS's press the other night. I don't think the game will be a blowout like you say. Although, I might be wrong because I have never seen Hampton play...but then again coalfieldjacketfan, you probably haven't either.

Wartburg has improved a lot since Christmas and was missing Armes and Fountain both during the Cloudland game. They too, like Hampton, are clicking together now after suffering injuries for the most part of this year.

I'll predict 1. Coalfield (Will have a good group of seniors and Jordan, should be good if they want it bad enough) 2 or 3. Wartburg (Will have a good group of seniors and a lot of outstanding sophomores) 3 or 2. Oneida (Don't know much about age of players, but should continue to be good) 4. OS (Losing too many seniors this year, will be an okay team) 5. Oakdale (Very young team, needs one more year to rebuild) 6. Sunbright (Young team who could upset some, but still needs a year to get better) Jellico is not in District 4A, unless they are adding them next season.

Well it may not be their "high level", but it's the best they have played all year. They have really stepped up their game. And you're right, Wartburg does not have Kayla Christopher, but it doesn't mean Wartburg can't win. No one is too good to be beat. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Wartburg played them very close last meeting, and I believe they can pull it out this time. I might be wrong, but I'm sticking with my prediction.

For the second year in a row, Wartburg and Oliver Springs are playing for the Region 2A Championship! Will Wartburg take home the region crown again or will OS take it away this year? Of course, Oliver Springs is a very good team, but with the way Wartburg is playing right now, anything can happen. Who would have thought that the #5 seed in District 4A would have made it to the Region Championship?! They will most likely not continue this format. The only reason the coaches/athletic directors voted for this was because no one wanted to have it at OS.

Wartburg will win in a close game. Then I think Wartburg will go on to beat OS for the District Championship, and Oneida will win 3rd in the Consolation game. What are your predictions?

I agree with catmommy. OS will definitely beat Oneida. Everytime I have seen Oneida play, they have had a hard time bringing the ball down the floor. If that's still the case, then OS will stomp them. Wartburg has been playing very hard. They made OS fight for their win tonight, but OS just dominated in the end. Wartburg had a lot of sloppy mistakes. Wartburg will probably beat Coalfield in the Consolation game. They are playing like they want it.

Fountain does not graduate this year. She is a junior. The other senior is Sarah Spence.

Well, how about them four quarters at Oakdale tonight? Wartburg takes the win by 10 points. The Lady Dogs really stepped up their game, and played like they should have the other two times against Oakdale...and all season. They kept Pease from scoring a lot, which really helped the game for Wartburg. In the fourth quarter, Chapman truly turned the game around for the Lady Dogs. Congrats Lady Dogs on a big win tonight! Also, congrats to Oakdale for playing a tough game. Any updates on the Oneida/Sunbright score?

Sunbright Predictions: #5 Wartburg at #4 Oakdale - Even though Oakdale beat Wartburg both times during the season, I believe this game will go to the Wartburg Lady Dogs in a close game. #6 Sunbright at #3 Oneida - Oneida wins by 15+ The Championship will be between OS and Coalfield with OS winning another District title. The Consolation game will be between Wartburg and Oneida with a close win by Oneida. What do you think?

Oh, I heard the 25th. I don't know for sure..and honestly, I don't think the Wartburg team knows for sure if she'll be back. If she does get to play though, she probably won't be up to par since she's been sick. It will be a tough game either way so the Lady Dogs just gotta play hard. GO DOGS!

Wartburg vs. Rockwood - I pick Wartburg to win. They have been playing very well lately and they seem to be the team that wants it the most. Grace vs. OZ - Grace is not as great as everyone thinks they are..but I still think they will be able to pull out a win since they have the home court advantage. I think OZ might get rattled a bit. Harriman vs. Sunbright - Harriman will win this one no doubt. Sunbright just doesn't match up with Harriman. Oneida vs. Greenback - Close game, but Oneida comes out with a win in OT.

I predict Wartburg and Oliver Springs to be playing for the Region title. They have both proven to be the better teams this year. Wartburg vs. Oakdale - It will be another close game between these two, but I think Wartburg will pull it out..especially if Settles is back. I say Wartburg by 8. Oliver Springs vs. Coalfield - This one will probably be close in the first half, but Oliver Springs will dominate in the second half and win by 20 or so.
