thats not the point. he made some mistakes but who doesn't? we aren't saying that he is the elite and the best of the best...all we are saying is that he can be a really great ball player. on the topic of our record we are now 5-5 after playing nearly everyday the past two weeks lol..we kinda are lookin forward to sunday to rest up lol... we are a team that has great potential when we want to step up and play... each player can be a deciding factor when they decide to be a player (including our cf) so if u want to bring him down you make sure that you get through our team first... /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

vb played webb and moore today winning both

i play for vb..his name is tommy beasley and has great potential to go far. He makes exceptional catches when the game is on the wire and hits with great consistency. When it comes to colleges, im not sure on his options. He is an asset to this team and has the heart to prove himself a great player down the road.

yea forrest will still be good..there is no question about it, and youth and inexperience will quickly turn into skill and maturity within that organization. Is MTCS playing any preseason?

I think Van Buren beat Cannon County today 7-3? im not sure but that shows VB has grown..anybody know anything bout Eagleville or MTCS or Forrest?

I agree that district 9a will be very tough this year. MTCS is the most likely to be on top in the district but don't count out some other teams. Cascade is skilled and diverse, while Eagleville has some talent. Van Buren didn't lose any body from last year and has some descent talent. Since Forrest lost a majority, who knows how good they will be. But these teams i mentioned all has potential to make this district a fun one to watch.

If I recall, The district tournament championship was won by a very (and i mean very) lucky shot in the last few seconds...no reason to be harsh bout Baseball....U smell that? I think it might be jealousy...

Just hearing everyone talking about Minor is enough for me to believe he IS an All American... I have heard so many rumors about him and i admire forrest for their great team... Forrest all they way this year... Good luck at Vandy Mikey..

Woodbury won both...6-2 first game, 5-2 second....Woodbury didn't look great but still overcame Van Buren by one simple but complex thing..hitting!!! Van Buren had a very very slow hitting round these preseason games, but considering they have only had 3 legit practices they looked alright...Still give Van Buren some time to grow and they could potentially be competitors (to some)

Van Buren last year held Trousdale to 1-0...They only reason Van Buren lost is because Van Buren had very little bats going... Van Buren lost 2 descent players this year (and one is a sophmore due to inelidgibility) and it could potentially send them to a forgettable season...

Did Forrest just hold Page down, or were they just not doing anything? And Chapel Hill, what about them too?

Well I already knew Forrest is a very strong team and i knew mikey minor is A++ on the mound...i was just wondering how the other teams' strength is...Pitching, Hitting, etc... Forrest should and prob. will win the district...

Has there been any 9A scrimmages so far? If so, please post them so i can see the results...

Forrest, Eagleville to lead district... Van Buren Co. has some potential to be competitive this year..but thats thrown up in the air...Boyd should be an easy win (but emphasize on should)..Community i have no idea and mtcs is a possible competitor....May i ask who this is and i may give more info....Thnx!!
