Please keep us informed. I've had the pleasure of watching her in Morristown West Invitational for the last two years and have tried to keep up with her strikeout progress, but information is hard to come by. Good luck and I'm pulling for her!!!

Ok, could someone please give us die-hard softball nuts an update on how many K's Fadnek has now?? Also, when does Coalfield's district tournament start? Their school website says it starts today, is that right?

Don't think there's any doubt who the better team was, just pointing out that they officially tied for 3rd.

Unicoi County 6-3 over Coalfield in the championship game. Unicoi defeated Tennessee High in one semi, Coalfield defeated Union in the other. Didn't play a consolation game, so technically there was a tie for 3rd.

Morristown West is planning it's 4th annual softball tournament for April 27th & 28th 2012. As in previous years, it will be held at Frank Lorino Park in Morristown. The entry fee will be $225 & there will be a 4 game guarantee (weather permitting). you're absolutely right, really didn't mean to leave him out - brain cramp.

East is 6-0 in district play, West is 5-1, only loss being to East in a 5 set marathon a couple of weeks ago. Lots of ball to be played between now and then, but the re-match is set for next Tuesday @ East. It's a pretty heated (but normally friendly) cross-town rivalry, and the most attended matches of the season for both schools as they get pretty good turn out from the student bodies for these. It is a always a very intense but fun environment for volleyball. Can't wait, but West plays at Seymour tonight and they are always tough win and are VERY well coached. West must be careful not to look too far ahead.

OK, I'll correct. Those were the only 2 that I wasn't 100% on. West beat South Doyle tonight 25-11, 25-9, 23-25 & 25-7. Had a little let down in set 3. Wish we could get others from District 2 involved - hard to find out anything around the league this year.

Stormy, I've been trying to do some schedule & score updates for the IMAC teams on the Coach T website. I think I now have all of East & West's schedule up to date. Double check my scores for East - been trusting the newspapers. Be sure to add games & scores as you find them out - especially hard to get info on Cocke County, South Doyle & even Seymour & Chrokee at times. Come on guys help us out - post your game schedules and scores!

No, actually it was Jeff County and Unicoi County who were Co-champs last year, and the field has changed quite a bit since the last posts here. I'll try to get schedule on here ASAP.
