i think that farragut will come out with the win but it should be a good game and west will score so i say. 2-1 farragut.

i am glad to see that mcminn county did not play christian brothers and can say that farragut and bearden did not give a good representation of east tennessee soccer i would really have liked to see mcminn county versus christian brothers who beat every one they played, even catholic who is a great team. with that said Bearden did not have a good weekend and paid for it, they came out with little intensity until that last game which they played great and hopefully we will see more of that kind of play, because against collierville they looked good, and everyone was playing hard. Bearden does not play you (mcminn county) all this season, i dont think, but maybe you all can actually make it to state and represent east tennessee soccer better then bearden or farragut, until then i do not think you (mcminn county) have that much room to talk. what was up with the "bump" "set" "spike" one word posts? do they have some hidden meaning i don't know about? i read those and just laughed. i don't know anything about father ryan this year but i say they will have their hands with Christian Brothers (who wouldn't) Christian Brothers didn't really control every aspect of the game but they just score, a team is playing well with them and then let up for one second and boom a shot and goal, just like that. It was crazy, and they have next to perfected their set plays, theyscore a good percentage of those (of what i have seen). but once again i don't know about father ryan does anyone know if they play before state this year i would like to know when that is.

bearden beat Collierville 2-0 today both scores by Rico. one in each half. Bearden showed some intensity today that was missing the past two days.

i already visited, i am not allowed to play highschool this year, TSSAA rules; but i did play for Bearden last year. i should visit again sometime, i guess i like your team's style and the coach. i heard that you all have a scrimmage with carson newman, do you know when that is?

hey i just thought it would be nice to know who is signing up to play in college and were they are going, so we can keep up with our favorite opponents. so please tell, or even if you plan to play but don't know were you want to go for sure, you can post your interests and maybe some one can help you make up your mind, maybe someone has experience with that collegeand can tell you about it. I myself and trying to get with Cumberland College, but it is not a done deal yet, so there are still other options.

A head's up, number 8 on MUS has a rocket shot he had the best direct kick i have ever seen in high school soccer, it was perfect upper right, not a floater either, a rocket. really good player. then Rico scored a nice goal off a punt from the keeper i believe number 8 on MUS scored the last winning goal as well. Brian Walker saved 2 or 3 beautiful shots, that saved them, this team can shoot. Bearden had a few more chances on goal as well. how did mcminn do? big day tomorrow hope the weather holds out kinda not fair to shout out the great shot, but it is too nice to keep secret

i think that the mom should have a constant yellow card and her next offense jumps straight into a red and she is gone. not just kiddin she seems a little too attached, she needs to be told that her son is in high school and should do as many things as possible by himself so that he can grow as an individual instead of relying on someone else all the time. I think that this player (does any one know his name?) would like for his mother to back off and give him some breathing room. I know that both of my parents have gotten at least two red cards each and sent away from the field, and it calmed everyone down somewhat and i could concentrate a little more knowing that my parents were not yelling at the top of their lungs, especially when they were clearly wrong (sometimes). So i am saying it is great she is protecting her son, but she is no one special. She can not just ignore the rules of soccer b/c her son has a hearing impairment, he chose to play which implies that he uphold the rules of the game; therfore, she should too.

wait i don't get it, no advancements? then is their a winner? i guess it would be by who has the most points, but what if there is a tie in points? does any one have the tournament point system for this tournament, or is it just a bunch of games? i don't understand this, is there more than one bracket?

i am no doctor or anything, but when he was supposedly 15 and 16 they could've taken an x-ray of his bones around the foot and shoulders and seen how much space is inbetween his growth plates, he is 17 now right? they still probably can, if there is space, in theory, he is probably 17 because 17 year olds still grow but if he is older like 19 then there should be very very little room because he has grown to be as tall as he will ever be. once again i am no professional at this kinda thing, but it seems to me that sense the question is so popular they should've went and seen when he was younger, and my personal thoughts are that they have had those x-rays and that he is older but they want the AWE! effect of his being so young and good to hang around for awhile. once again these are my thoughts, but he is a great player nevertheless. i have also heard that some people think that Brandon Tarr is older then he really is too. it wouldn't matter because i heard that he went up a year on the national team and scored on a divsion 1 college team, if i didn't hear wrong. and i believe they beat them by one point. please inform me if i am mistaken on that.

just out of curiosity what kind of bad language is too bad? i mean what about foolish? or crazy? because i believe i have said those before. just wondering if those are too bad for the site because if they are i will have to stop. its not like i use them all the time or anything, just sometimes. ok well just wondering.

umm you do realize that they tied right? i mean reading your post it would make one believe that Webb killed Bearden and Bearden never got a shot off. so if the score was 2-2 and webb outscored bearden the second half what does that mean about the first half? it means that bearden outscored them 1-0. holy crap they played out of their minds, shut down rico, have a great defense, froze the keeper, and what i wasn't at the game, but to say that Rico is an over rated player is absolutely crazy. i can't believe you just stated something so foolish. the bearden team has an inexperienced forward line, one sophmore who will be one to watch, a junior who has stepped it up from last year, but is inexperienced in varsity games, and then Rico who barely got to play last year do to injuries. yea they do rely on him because he is a good player and until the others find there style and learn how to use eachother it will stay that way, let's just hope they learn quickly. Just wait and watch as the forwards settle and they learn how to use eachother's strengths and weaknesses, then they will be off, i am sure you all have seen what i am talking about, the quick releases and no support giving to the one with the ball, this will hopefully change in the future. i will be looking for you to take back this comment as the season goes on, and i am sure you will see what i am talking about. and how should bearden feel ashamed of themselves? because they tied you guys(Webb)? are you stating that the Webb team isn't that good? I have played with Rico since i was 9 years old and i know he will do fine and if he wants to he will play in college, and players that are looked at by colleges are seldomly over rated because must colleges know what they want, and it just so happens that some of them want Rico.

oh man. i did not know that this site had a person that tells us whether what we say is right or wrong by who we are. why have opinions at all if you can just tell us if we are right or wrong? i guess we should all ask you for validation of our opinions before we post them. and if you get offended by other people's posts so easily maybe, just maybe, you should not read them. and how does playing baseball help someone be a better keeper? i see that the posts go from "manu721" to "joe23" i don't know what is up with that because to me it seems like it is the same person using two different names, i don't know for sure. could you please tell me if i am right or wrong(and i am serious).

i wish i could dream of something and then it be true, that would be a great talent. but i am not bestowed with that power so i guess i will have to get off the couch and run some hills

thanks alot looks like i will be buying a ladder and a tape for the drills running up and and down big steep hills, hitting the pool, and looking for a D1 sports. ha I'm too lazy for all of them but thanks alot everyone
