Just wondering.Not heard anything on off.cor.has anyone else.But its offical Berrong is not coaching this year.Hes not there for spring either.Just wondering whos in line for the def.cor.I was out there Monday didn't get to see much caught the tale end of practice,look to be about 20 something kids out there.When is their scrimmage,what day and what time.I know their suppose to scr.N.D.and Cumberland county but don't which one first.

Yes it is Marsh at Sweetwater.Hes the one Gregory was fixing to hire at SEQ.And some people kept talking to SLOBBER so that went out the window.And if you get a chance give me a call at the lot,and i figure the lake is back to its normal level now.Tell big Bell i'm proud of him .That class has excelled.There all doing well it was a special group.My boy just got home from The Citadel,i'm proud of him.HE will be home for three and a half months and then he goes back for sophmore year.

Roberts this is by far the best compliment you have had in a long long time! But do you look like me or do i look like you. Warning to all high school football coachs,if SLOBBER ever becomes a head coach at the high school level, be ready he will not trade films with you.

I do not believe that i have talked about any specific kid on here. take a guess at what position i coach and i will tell you if you are right Unless your trying to make you something your not,why not just tell who you are, if you are a coach,i just had simple questions about defense and offense,when i was coaching out there i didn't hide it and don't understand why you do,i said i support you in what you do.Now if you are fibing a little i can understand why you won;t say,but if you are a coach why hide it,not unless your ashamed about it.And if your ashamed you shouldn't be there coaching.

Cumberland County is 3A and was 2-8 last year. We were 0-10 last year so exactly why would we want to go scrimmage one of the biggest schools in this area. Having WB make the trip down here for a scrimmage is not a good idea. Now if we have a good spring that might be a different story come fall of the year. But I am pretty sure that our coaches are too smart for that. I like these scrimmages gives us an opportunity to see if we have made any strides toward improving. GOSQHS, I would tread lightly around these two or you might regret it. Just keep up the good work and hope you have a good spring and get these kids ready for some good hard hitting come Friday nights this fall. Looking forward to it. Oh yeah and after you tell everyone what offense and defense we will be running maybe you could fill us in on some hand signals you will be using this fall so that everyone in the stands will no what is going on and we won't have any surprises out there. LISTON rocket man,if anyone is worried enough about us, all the have to do is send someone to the scrimmage to watch and take notes,and coachs, when they scr.someone usaully will tell their opp.what they run out of respect.Its a coachs job to scheme a gameplan to stop their opp.So by GOSQHS saying what their going to try is not hurting a thing,but that tells me have never coached at that level.

GOSQHS i SAID IT MIGHT BE A RUMOR,if you will go back and read about the coachs meeting.But if you all have, i would like to know what offense and what defense you all are going to try and run this spring.JUST CURIOUS.You should know if you all have been meeting,Liston i support SEQ.and its staff thats why i went and watched most of the games last year.I want the kids to succeed.And if you are a coach which you have never said for sure,i think i know what position you coach.I say to you i respect what your doing people don't know how hard it is,but some advice never t talk about kids on here that play or who have played,that will get you in hot water,and a coach just does not do that.and be careful about SLOBBER he talkes a big game but hides behind SCREENNAME TO DO IT.Thers a reason why he does it.So be careful on who you trust.

Yeah I'm sure Webb, Catholic, or AE would love to bring their JV down and take Sequoyah to the woodshed . I just can't wait til August when the "Sequoyah will have the most improved team in the district" talk fires up again. But this is a step you have to do ,to start getting better.So how does everyone think this year will be.I'm worried they have not been in the weight room like they should,but maybe i heard wrong.But i will say this weightroom is key for the off season.I heard they have not even had a coachs meeting yet,but that may be only a rumor,so what are your alls thought.

Did me and SLOBBER agree on something.And i wasn't trying to mock at all i said i knew you were joking but they do still run the double wing and i have not heard you complain about that like you did with the previous staff.

Heritage would be a good one don't you think,or who do you suggest.And if you will look i did say i knowed you were jokeing.Do you read all the post or do you just see sure name and get mad.

The way i understand it is they will practice the last 2 weeks of school and they have 2 scrimmages lined up but i don't know who with, but they may have to cancel one of them and i don't know why.

Coach Gregory was done wrong but he has moved on,and i support him where he is.So don't get on here and put words into people mouths. And the reason i asked SLOBBER about the double wing is because he said he interveiwed on the O.C.job on which he was lying, and i know he was jokeing, but he said he mentioned the double wing and the law was called,but Coach S.has ran it about 40 percent of the time,so maybe he needs to go and talk to him if he has a problem with it.Now the 40 percent is just a guess but is close.

Are you saying coach s.wouldn't allow someone to run the double wing with him as the head coach.

I had heard that Berrong was not coming back,now that may just be a rumor,because when it comes to SEQ.theres a lot of them. I talked to him Tuesday,and hes a great kid.Those kids that played the last two years were a special group.Even though Mongo as you call him was a year behind JR CB JW ,HE HAD THEIR HEART FOR HARD WORK.I'm glad i had a chance to be part of their lifes and will never forget them.They are doing so well,Brewster is in the military and doing well from what i hear,Storm and Big Bell are walk ons at Tusculum and Jake is at utc playing for the Mocs.John Ray is at THE CITADEL.And ELI is playing baseball at Berea.So hard work does pay off.I just want them to know i'm proud of them.

What position do you coach.I'm worried about the line because of youth and depth.It seems the skill positions will be okay if they all play and bar any injuries.Line is the key without it skill means nothing.Who will fills the holes left the last 2 years.I know peels and wiggins ,just wondering who else.Any names.

we do not know for sure yet but it will either be at the end of april or the beginning may. Its sounds like your close to the program,maybe even a coach.I hope SEQ.has a better year this year.Just wondering what your take on how you think they will be ,i don't get to talk to people much anymore but i still support them and wish them the best.

Just curious how many kids are in the weight room for the 2010 season.They should have started last week i think.Haven't heard anything was just curious.How many days a week they working out.

The thing is,when you have a good program,you will get tranfer students.Its the people around the program that make that happen.Its starts from the top and works it way down.You have to have people who want whats best for the kids,not theirself.Some school systems don't put that kind of money in it,and when theres no money its usually a weaker program.I don't blame people for taking their kids to programs where things are done right. It starts in the weight room,kids have to be strong,you cant start the weight room in FEB.It needs to start when it can be legal to be in there.And the kids have to show up.And working on things in the off season legally of course.Get rid of the bad apples,they will bring a team down.Be strong and well conition when the season starts,and crisp. The early wins are key so that kids don't give up and start quiting on you.They have to play hard every play and give it all they got.When you start having good years more kids will come out,and you may start getting tranfer students in from programs that are not doing well.The more kids you have the more tallent they will be. Coachs have to be be there thur all of this, instead of saying i don't get paid enough to do all this extra stuff,again that comes down to money. I don't blame the schools for the transfer students they get.I blame the programs that let them get away.

Well Slobber i can tell you i don't want bad things for this team ,no matter whos coaching.I support those kids to the end.Thats why i put in 3 years which was alot of time and got paid 0.I bet you haven't even put in 1 full day. Well i can't agree that it doesn't matter because the players read this,and i'm sure it makes them feel good.But hey you did answer.But i would say you are hurting the program by doing that.Maybe i'm the only one.I don't think i have ever went against SEQ.on here even though i may have had the same gut feeling you did.
