I agree and because of that the publics are now looking to see how some of these small privates like Temple got so good so fast and will demand a total split. The fact that Temple will be dramatically worse this year after beating everyone last year will be magnified!!!

This time it will be different. The multiplier was put in a couple of years back to try to appease the publics. Now they say all the problems moved up a classification or two but they are still there. Just watch and see. It is not an easy time for our schools waiting to see the outcome at Temple and how it all affects the rest of us!

Whatever happens with the Temple situation, including nothing at all, will have an effect on us, Grace, CCS, David Brainerd, ND, and all the other small christian schools. We will likely face traveling and competing with schools we don't want to be playing if a split occurs.

Will Temple's problems finally cause a public-private split? If they are found guilty of serious violations, will they be dealt with severely by TSSAA and everything goes on as it is now or will they get off easy and make all the public schools mad enough that the TSSAA has to finally split the public and private schools?

So you are saying that Temple may have two "huge" post players down low in basketball next year. What about some of the basketball players who did not play football last year-will they play this year?

Is it true that the Free Press is going to announce Chip Kell as Temple's new head football coach tomorrow?

So if this is the same kid who played on Temple's aau team when did he move here and which sport is he better at? Is he another Skogen?

So is the 6'4" kid the one Pasture said is from South Carolina?

Someone remind me if I knew this but forgot it. Is the new kid for Temple from SC about 6'5" and does he also play post in basketball?

Still wondering if anyone else sees the connection with Chastain and Kell. If one got in trouble with spring practice and got fired, how could the other not know it? If Kell knew, then wouldn't that also disqualify him from coaching?

If you look at Temple's website at thier football section, they list Chip Kell as an "advisory"coach. What does this mean? They also said on their football banquet page that Kell was returning as defensive coordinator. If these two things are correct that he was a returning coach for this year, then he would have to share the responsiblility with Coach Chastain if there were illegal players at spring practice. Chastain is not the only one who should get the blame. Would this not be a problem for him/Kell being named head coach if Chastain was fired for this?

Wasn't Kell on staff during Temple's spring practice? If so, would he not also be held responsible if kids participated in Temples spring practice who were not supposed to? I mean would he not realize that some of the kids in pads were not Temple students?

So MO$$$$ are you saying it did or did not happen? Whose chain got yanked?

I don't know who stated this information first, but if Temple allowed even their own seventh graders (kids who are going to be in the eighth grade next year) to participate in spring practice, then this would be another serious violation. TSSAA does not allow kids in your school who are not at least eighth grade to participate in high school athletics, even spring practice. They are not covered by the TSSAA insurance. It would be crazy to let seventh graders practice with any level of high school players.

It looks like in early May that Pasture noticed some kids at spring practice who did not belong to Temple!

What do these affadavits say? That these kids just walked through Highland Park one day and asked if they could practice with the team?
