I know Ridgeway will have Derrick Mason back... who else is returning. Mason is a very good shooter Ive seen him a couple of times, but how much will losing Fields and Channels hurt the team. I have heard that ridgeways last few freshman teams havent been beat in a while, who are some of the big names they have coming up

Yes RC, but the top 4 in each class... add them up and you gotta say that AA is the tougher division. At least national attention wise.

Well I am friends with a few of them and I know that some of them do know more than that... but besides the point. Shelbyville had the easier schedule, and losing to Siegel in the region championship probably helped them out more than hurt them because they had a slightly easier road to the title... NOT taking anything away from them, their effort in the title game was close to flawless... I wish I could have seen them play more to be honest. gah that game was amazing.

I have seen tons of games... and this was the best game I have ever seen in high school basketball. Shelbyville did earn my respect. When I saw them lose in the Region 4 championship game I thought they had finally run out of gas, but they put together a great run, and just about dethroned the king.

are you kidding... Haywood, Liberty, Bolivar, and Mitchell overall are better than Raleigh Egypt, Siegel, Hamilton, and Shelbyville. I do agree that Hamilton is the best team overall... But the top 4 for AA are better than those in AAA

In the games i have seen siegel play I have seen plenty of times that that Jimmy Oden kid has gone over to help up opposing team players... And if he fouls them he will pat um on the butt and go on. And it doesnt make since that you say that thats what siegel fans expect to say when they are the ones complaining that no one helped him up. Are you proving a point or are you just tryin to argue. Bottom line is this is about shelbyville and hamilton... I dont see Siegel anywhere in this thread topic.

He is one of the most fun players I have seen in high school basketball... Such a tremendous leader and blessed with supreme talent. I look for him to make an imediate impact for Memphis and continue his great story. Hats off to Thaddeous Young and Wayne Chism as well

What? I doubt a team with the class of Shelbyville would do such a thing. With amazing leaders like Twilley and Stewart you would think that they would behave themselves and show sportsmanship. My thoughts are as follows: Shelbyville was not the better team coming into this game. They played hard and hit some prayers to keep them in it. Hamilton is a strong team and its about time that they beat a good team. Stewart.. Hats off to him he played his heart out and is well deserving of the Mr Basketball trophy. You cant him them all my friend. Congrats to Shelbyville for a great year as well as the other 7 teams who even made it to this final 8. This was a great year for high school basketball in the state of TN.

Seems to me that everyone does that. Siegel fans just seem to show their love for there team in a different way.
