After Cornersville wins this week, they are guaranteed at least 5-5 and could do not worse than a bowl game. Cornersville fans, is this the first time you have qualified for the postseason? I really hope ya'll beat Huntland and Moore County. I doubt you can beat Collinwood and Wayne Co. 7-3 and a 4th seed would be a HUGE step up from tradition.

Playoff at-large teams will be Loudon (or Rockwood if Loudon wins the head-to-head this week) Harpeth (or Richland if Harpeth wins their matchup, the loser will be at least 5-5) Adamsville (3-2 with games against Riverside, Waverly, and Halls guarantee at least 6-4) JCS (4-1 with games against USJ and Dresden guarantee at least 6-4) Humboldt (3-3 with Gibson Co. and Dresden still on schedule) Cannon Co does have a shot with their weak schedule to be 6-4 or so, but history is not on their side as far as being able to win games.

They're in pretty bad shape anyway. I think this is their only shot at a win. I hate it for the kids.

No. Cut blocks are allowed by lineman, and only in the tackle box. Often you will see backs cut DEs, but that is illegal and heck but refs wont call it.

Best way to go is like you said. Take 22 North and then 100 East to 69 North. Then take I-40 to exit 172. I would NOT take Natchez Trace Parkway. I'm not an Adamsville fan at all, but as for a prediction, Adamsville rolls big. Your game with Stewart Co. coming up will be a huge game as the winner will receive the #3 seed. However, I predict both will end up getting in, with the loser receiving one of the at-large bids. I know McNairy Central is a big rivalry for you guys, but if this 9 Region plans continues (which I have heard that Ronnie Carter wants to do this with all 5 classifications), you guys would be better off playing Middleton or Scotts Hill.

Well, its pretty obvious you are one of two people...... And I know the facts. If you are person A, then you should just go on to the gym and coach basketball with David Lee. That's what you do for half the day anyway, instead of what your job description calls for. What the heck kind of defense are you running? You're talking about kickoff coverage for a defense. I feel bad you your team's two good players, #5 (LB) and the punter. They are festering in a terrible team.

Cornersville has probably the best team they have ever had, and at 2-1 have Zion, Mt. Juliet Christian, and Perry Co. on the horizon They could be 5-1 (3-1) when Wayne Co. rolls in week 7. Cornersville always plays WC tough, and I'd bet they won't mow the field to help slow down WC. A win there would give them 4 region wins with games against Collinwood, Huntland, and Moore Co. left (prob won't beat Collinwood). How big of an upset would it be for Cornersville to be 8-2 (6-2)? I'm not a fan of Cornersville, just like to see the underdog succeed.

Hey, before you jump to conclusions, I am NOT a Stewart Co. supporter. My point is that you should not assume you will beat someone just because on paper you should beat them. Remember Huntingdon and Dyer County from 2 weeks ago? So don't count your chickens before they hatch.

I have a hard time getting past Robert Francis. 125 tkls, TFCA All-State last year. As far a pure ability he probably isn't the best, but he likely has the best resume.

Hmmm, a miracle to stay close to Camden? So Camden has a few good years and all of a sudden they are untouchable by struggling teams? That's a load of it. Camden has built a quality program, but it wasn't that long ago that Camden went 0-10 and couldn't have beaten the Sisters of the Blind.

Here's the thing that needs to happen - everybody who supports football needs to ring the phones of the school board members. Not just once - but CONSTANTLY - until football gets the proper support. Otherwise, the only other option is to elect new school board members, because Webb's position is appointed by the school board, not elected by the people. Why is the highest paid public official in Perry County an appointed position? It's horse crap and Webb doesn't have the mental capacity to adequately hold the position. Also, someone mentioned that the new coach knew when he went through spring as an 'assistant' that he would be the head coach. He did know that and never told Bradley.

Good, glad they do believe they can win. I want to see Riverside do good. I am commenting on what I have talked to others about and what I feel in my gut. If I am wrong, ...... GREAT! I do not want to be right on this one.

Just wondering on thoughts about the game tonight. I wish Riverside would decide they can win some games but I'm afraid they won't as long as the coaching staff doesn't believe it. I thought Richland would be down since losing Pickett (coach and son) but must not be too bad since they beat Ardmore. Any ideas?

Well, they are in it 90% of the time (the rest are punts or FGs, or occasionally they get in the little spread look, but they don't run anything but a hitch or sweep out of it). Look, Huntland benefits from being in a weak region. They will battle Moore Co. and Cornersville for the last playoff spot. If you think that they can do better than 4th you have lost your mind.
