Yeah our coaches are really good friends, we are going up to jackosn the 28th. WE also have a pre-season jamboree to, where we play ECS St. Benedict, Adamsville and liberty

Should be a terrific season! we will be tested because our first opponent is the number 8th ranked team in west TN, ECS

I don't think so, I havent learned all the new players names yet though. Yeah john mark is an awesome guy and should do well for us this year.Yall scared us a little last year, but hopefully we can get a well fought game though, gotta get ready foe our wide pitch though! that usually kills the visiting teams

A lot of the basketball squad plays football, i think playbook was simply stating that he hoped that coach real and the counces worked out an agreement to let the football player also participate more activly in bball. I know its not fun if we dont make fun of dyersburg, but he wasnt saying anything about winning in football season.

We'll should be pretty strong, this is the last week of conditioning and everyones ready to get some ball work in. We have had a few people who have not played coming on the team, who should really help us out. Who do you know from our guys?

Did that guy from haywood go to yall? I think his name was Castro or something like that. He was the toughest player I faced all year! Speed, amazing passing and a good solid shot. Who else transfered in?

I'd give yall a very good chance. You guys have got to beat Milan to really cement your place. They were a tough team last year, and really suprised us, but lost their exchange players and a lot of good seniors. Gibson County and Trenton should be easy wins. No clue about Humbolt as this is there first year to have a team, however i'd guess them not to be to great because neither I nor anyone i know has played with a guy from humboldt(that i know of). Are yall playing Westview at home or away? I know you'll have a tough game at our house, but if yall get things together, then yall will have a shot, My prediction for yall is wins over Peabody, GC and Humbolt, draw Milan, lose to Dburg and Westview

I agree, I don't know who each team are bringing back, but Northside will undoubtably have a good team.

We condition hard for about a month and a half, then we do drills and scrimmages, pretty normal. Having a conditioning month ahead of tryouts is great because all of the uncommitted or unfit players generally leave. We don't really cut anybody, but starting positions are up for grabs, so everybody works hard.

The game lasted 32 minutes, the debate has lasted almost a week!

I know at least 6 people who got 29 or higher as sophomores. Coach Durbin and Mrs Edwards are racking us in the AP scores too. but lets get past the bickering and back to the game. Looking forward to the rematch for some top hoops!

I know our class of 09 has some terrific ACT scores as well, and they'll only get higher!

I was in the DHS student section, and though I wouldn't say we were hugly bigger, I thought we had a couple more people. I could be wrong cause I could see their whole section, but we were definatly not 1/2 to 2/3rds of DC.

Lets not argue about the coaches. Coach Mccord is obviously a talented coach, but he seems to let his passion seep out in unproductive ways, and coach Real is one of the nicest coaches I've talked to, and I believe he'll make our program respectable again.

Vick doesn't seem like the kind of player to hurt someone on purpose. Besides, with all the physicallity that was shown, the definition of "Shove" kinda got lost. It must of wentto join the "Walk", "Block", and "Technical" in the lost a found department. Also, I bet every single in that school was turned on tonight. Your tax dollars at work! Id complain about the cops but they were needed.
