With the plea deal, its possible he took so he wouldnt have to mess with the charge. He would have to pay a lawyer, miss collage for court, and possibly be convicted and sentanced to a harsher penalty then probation. Unfortunately by admitting an assault occurred when he pled guilty, he probably just hurt himself if he intends to fight the civil litigation. I wasnt there so I wont say anything about the crime, I do think however that if it was a player with less of an agressive history that this would have gotten nowhere.

They need to play some harder teams to improve their program. Our districts have a lot of easy teams, with only one or two challanging ones per distrcit, so you usually dont even meet the good teams until region or section. I think USJ will beat madison 4-0

Great win for westview! Unfortuantly that sounds just like our refs...

That ref did have some very questionable calls on both sides. First, he would call fouls for very little contact and not for High contact fouls. I personally didnt think the push on jake was enough for a penalty, but i do believe that the players crossed the line early (resulting in the retake of the penalty). I do wish we could see some new refs becasue im gettin tired of them too. For the penalty yall had, i was at right defense and have no clue if it was a foul or not, but with our missed chances I think the score was fair.

In our district we never see 3 until we get to the playoffs.

its gonna be close, but the way westview played against us, i gotta give it to them.

USJ has looked very sharp in the games ive seen them play, they definatly have what it takes to go to state

USJ almost for sure, with Northside, westview and madison veying for the other. I think northside will edge it out.

I have reffed some games and it is hard, but at gibson county there were around 15-20 handballs by gibson in varoius areas of the pitch that were not called. One of our players was taken down in the box twice and the fouls were called on him! absoulutly insane

Gibson countys field was really bad, we struggled the whole game on it

Dyersburg beat gibson county, Ive never seen such horrible refs, and i thought id seen the worst.

Catholic were runners up in state last year, any team who underestimates them is stupid.

Spinal injuries are especially dangerous because most teams have few or no medical personnel at the games.

I think we learned our lesson last year on underestimating teams, its way to early to count anyone out. Madison has as good of a chance of advancing as haywood or sheffield. Haywood only beat milan 4-1 and we beat them 2-0 with some reserves in a 40 min game, and madison tied sheffield already. One game doesn't reflect how a team will do the rest of the season. A lot of people counted us out last year when we lost to USJ 3-1, but we made it to state semis

I think brentwood will be on top, 2nd is up for grabs though
