This year was a very good one for Region 1. A lot of teams and players stepped up. I would like to say that I am very pride of all of the teams and players in the region. OK...I will agree with you on that. But im just saying, anybody can get beat and it almost happened to Hampton.

Well, since Oneida lost on a field goal attempt...im gonna say Hampton was the lucky ones. Didn't you watch the Michigan-App. State game??? EVERYBODY can get beat! I didnt even predict Jellico to win. I just said that Hampton wasnt going to kill them.

I think a few people have forgotten that Hampton isn't God's team. They can get beat just like anyone else and im pretty sure they got lucky last week that the kid from Oneida didn't make that field goal.

Im really just making that prediction off of what i've heard on here. West Greene is supposed to have a pretty good runningback and Cloudland is trying out a new offense. So this is really just a guess.

MVP: OFFENSIVE POY: DEFENSIVE POY: SPECIAL TEAMS POY: COACH OF THE YEAR: In my opinion, I think the MVP will be between Lunsford from Hampton, Buckner from Jellico, or Estep from Unaka. If Lunsford wins MVP, Buckner will win Offensive POY again and Estep will win Defense. If Buckner wins MVP, Lunsford will win Offensive POY and Estep will win Defense. If Estep wins MVP, Lunsford and Buckner will probably split Offense and Grooms from Cosby will probably win Defense.

Who are some of the players that deserved to be talked about but don't get as recognized as they deserve?

What has happened to the old Jellico teams that used to compete in 3-a and 2-a? It seems like when they moved down to 1-a they started getting worse.
