  4. All Crossville Thunder teams are full with the exception of the 11th Grade team. The 11th Grade team is still looking for 1-2 players because of late attrition. Please contact us at crossvillethunder@gmail.com .
  5. Our team is now filled. Thanks for all the responses!
  6. Now need 1. Preferably a post player, but would look at a combination player.
  7. Crossville Thunder 10th Grade needs 2-3 more players to fill out our roster for 2013. As we have the past 4 years, we will be keeping our roster numbers below 10 to insure maximum playing time during the travel season. We have a great core group of ladies and are planning to play in the best tournaments, including April and July exposure tourneys and a National tournament. If you have a player in the Middle/East Tennessee area (we are in Crossville and practice 1/4 mile off of Interstate 40), please reach out to us via email at crossvillethunder@gmail.com for an evaluation date.
  8. Crossville Thunder will be hosting an open gym session on Sunday, March 10th for the 9th, 10th, and 11th Grade. Open gym will be at Stone Memorial High School in Crossville from 2pm-4pm. Crossville Thunder teams are from many different schools in the middle Tennessee area including: Warren County, Stone Memorial, Bledsoe County, York, Clarkrange, Wartburg, Cumberland County, and others. 10. See you Wednesday! Tim

  11. Crossville Thunder 9th Grade team needs 1-2 experience guards to finish out a team of 8-9 players. This team finished 2nd in AAU State D2 and 4th in the YBOA Nationals. We will be strong again this year. Must be dedicated team players. If interested email us at: crossvillethunder@gmail.com and we will schedule a try-out.
  12. Jackson Co would beat CPA? Really? Did you go to the tournament today? CPA was impressive the whole tournament.
  13. So far, so good! CPA. Is definitely a good team.
  14. I LIKE Clarkrange and they probably should be at State. I was at the game and was disappointed for some of the players that I have coached for and against) when they lost to Clay. If they win that game, they would have been here in Murfreesboro. I have no doubt they will be back many times in the future. I promise you I will not say "they don't deserve it"
  15. I wasnt talking about the history of basketball. I just made the statement that with TSSAA, the teams at the state would have to be considered the top 8 teams in their respective classes. If they are not, then the State Tournament loses meaning. Is the State Tournament a farce and all the Gold Balls a joke?? I dont think so and neither does he OR he wouldnt brag about the Gold Balls. By the way, Stone had to play away for the substate and it is certainly a disadvantage. I think we were the only team to win the away Substate game in AA. It doesn't matter who that team is, that is a tough game. Stone's strength of schedule was ranked #1 with games against Clarkrange, Girls Preparatory School, Loudon, Livingston, Murfreesboro Oakland, Fulton. We won when we needed to Regions against (according to devil a very weak) Fulton and then at Substate, because we took some beatings during the year from some of the best teams. We lost to a really strong Obion team in the State Semis and devil thinks we have to apologize for our weak region? I'll say it if it makes all of you feel better (and I am not being facetious)...there is great basketball in Clarkrange, Jackson, Clay, Livingston, Pickett, Smith, Upperman. I didn't say there wasn't. I also didn't crap on any of them for making it to State.
  16. I agree that Jackson is the best team in A this year. The way you talked, I thought you were from one of the 3rd or 4th place teams that didn't make it? No, we didnt beat Clarkrange, we lost by 2 in our latest game with them...not exactly a blowout. We don't live or die by whether we beat Clarkrange or any other team.. Why do you want to belittle other teams that make State? Also, why do you brag about 7 Gold Balls from such a flawed system as the State Championships. You watched us play today, right? So I guess Obion doesn't deserve to be here either. You ARE really the Grand Wizard..... they should just have you select the teams that get to go to State instead of using a stupid system with Districts, Regions, Sectionals, and all those silly things. All I said was if you want to go to State then take care of business WHEN IT COUNTS. I'm really not sure how you argue with that.
  17. I'll help you petition TSSAA to let them know the State Championships are a farce. We didn't play Upperman or Cannon, so I don't know what that outcome would be, so no those are not facts. We'll never know where we would finish in your District, because some of us don't live in Fantasyland where we believe our District IS the state. Since your district is so great, just consider your District trophy a State Championship. Whoops, you didn't win that either. I'm guessing you aren't the #1 player on the Debate team. Did you enjoy watching the State Tourney on the Internet?
  18. The State Tourney, just like any end of the year tournament is about who is playing the best at the end of the year. Conjecture about whose District or Region is stronger is just that...conjecture. Everyone has the same set of rules...if you don't make it, you didn't care of business when you needed to. It's as simple as that. That's why we have playoffs. Sorry, your argument holds no water.
  19. Wish Stone could get in the same league with you. Same opponent, Same margin, but gave up fewer points AND made it to the Final Four. Wow! Think highly of yourselves much? Big WORDS are sometimes hard to swallow.
  20. Thanks. I'll correct it. I thought I heard the announcer say something about it being CPAs first. Makes sense, as they looked like they had been there before.
