Congratulations J.J. You beat out the Best Of The Best. In my mind it was well deserved. You haven't in the past been acknowledge as the Best... And that's why so many people was upset (sort of) with your win. Keep working hard and improving. I say keep on being the nice and humble person you are and things will take care of itself. Yeah that is unfortunate, since it seems hard or complicated (politics or whatever) to play teams of that caliber. But, if you are up to full strength then what has been a good season will only become better. And I might add, at the right time of the year. Good Luck the rest of your Season.

You make a great point Coach. Memphis as you know is still very much a hotbed for basketball. The JUCO route maybe what some of them need(that extra couple of years to get their games & such together). You probably have, but checkout the Memphis scene.

This week will only further complicate things, with the matchups that are forth coming; Millington @ Bartlett White Station @ Ridgeway Lausanne @ Houston Briarcrest @ Pope John PaulII That is 7 teams ranked, so how will they rank them after this week. Last week they just basically moved everyone up in the top half and kept everyone the same in the bottom half with the addition of Houston. So polls are what they are(Do I dare say BCS). Also, I would be terribly remissed if I didn't send out a Good Luck to Bartlett & Millington in their clash tonite.

No I'm not kidding you... No I don't think you injured or got rid of your players. But, if it wasn't an issue, why mention it in a setting like this. The problem is your enthusiasm for your team is great. Just in my opinion should be put in check somewhat. But, on the other hand you are a breath of fresh air, because you make yourself be a nice target. And NO, you do not have to concede defeat Bartlett will do that for you!

C'mon Everybody, the writing is on the wall......Bartlett will win big. With the 3 players out for Millington, they have NO CHANCE. By the way that sounds like excuse number one, why they lost (my bad will lose). This will be just another game for the Lady Panthers.

Wilson Central looked very good. Lincoln Co. give Wilson Central a run for their money. Shelbyville looked good as well as Lausanne. I was very impressed with the organization of the Play Day. Games was on time, gyms were close and the admission was only $5 bucks! And this goes without saying...the officiating was ok, but as always you take the good with the bad.

Yes, its still anyone's game. But, the Tigers are the 2 time State Champs. Maybe as in your earlier post, they had an "off weekend" when you beat them.... This weekend without a shadow of a doubt...they were the best team hands down. Ultimately, we will see who will be crown State Champs in 2 weeks.
