well from the man who started this topic.....i think its safe to say that there is some animosity between the Govs and the Rebels. I dont understand how webb only beat alcoa by two....we played both of these teams during preseason and webb was MILES ahead alcoa. Alcoa merely proves to be a team that frustrasts quality teams. Im sure that alcoa did the same thing to webb that they did to us...pack everyone in the box and hope for a tie...Webb is one of the best teams in east TN...im not trying to bash alcoa for something that is not their fault...having the easiest district in TN...if alcoa can go 7-0, then it cant be that hard of a district...maybe in about ten years alcoa will become a good team....thanks

I hope i am not the only one shocked by west's performance this year thus far. They have never been this good. (in recent years) I was positive that they would have gotten worse since last year. They were not a very good team last year. However this year they are proving to be more than a quality sqaud. Anyone who can tie Webb deserves respect. I cant wait to play them. West 1-0

To your responses about notre dame ccs etc.... chatt teams. I have never played and know very little about them... That is why i put on my post teams that i can rank accurately.

After playing against and guarding both logan threadgill and kimball i though that kimball was a better player. With the ball and without the ball he is formidable. Dont get me wrong logan and VERY quick and has great skills but kimball, in my opinion is better. However, im pretty sure logan is a junior and he with have one more year to improve...im sure he will.

Well, when it comes to teams playing their rivals strange things can happen. Teams that skill wise if you didnt know them so well you would beat them by two or three goals. However, once one is familiar with a team and have played them through the years the team that is not as good can tie and even better a much better team. This is why there are upsets. Catholic is much better and i stand by that.

I am very suprised that oak ridge scored first, considering their record so far...catholic is defiently one of the best teams in east TN...i wish we played them this year. They are a very skilled team and dont play dirty on EVERY SINGLE play like farragut.

I think that Catholic is a much better team than CAK...i am just not sure about state....who are the top contenders for catholic's state battle?

I can't be positive. Farragut is a great team and always has been. Im sure they will come to play for this key district match. However, Maryville might have just enough to take them off their thrown.--as they did bearden

I think that we need to face the fact that if a team needs to work hard to defeat morristown west....they are not even close to being a great team.

Before you look at the rankings....let it be know that i am well aware of west and middle tenn teams but do not rank them because i can not do so accurately. These are ONLY the east tenn teams that i know a good deal about...and I am pretty sure that i know all of the good ones. Most of these teams i have already played. It is to early in the season to actually post #1#2#3etc....but i will try...list your opinions...i want to know what you think. (This is also reguardless of divisions) This how i see it now....things will change. 1. Catholic 2. Webb 3. Science Hill 4. Maryville 5. CAK 6. McMinn County 7. Farragut 8. Knox West 9. Oak Ridge 10. Bearden The reason i dont have McCallie or ccs on here is because i dont know enough about them or who they have played to accurately post them.
