Limbaugh, You are the one giving statistics. I was pointing out how skewed they are. You need to allow Aydelott the same amount of time that Rankin was there berfore anointing him king. I will agree with cat, we will be lucky to stay on the field with the warriors.

Limmy, let's not forget that Rankin coached 219 games at RHS, Aydelott has coached 21. This is only 10% of the amount of games that Rankin coached. I do believe that Rankin's last year the team was 14-1, having lost in the semi-finals. Aydelott was 11-2 last year, and lost in the 3rd round. So as you can see Limmy, this is the rest of the story.

Love the info limmy, but maybe things are changing. I am so glad we were able to "sneak" one out last year. We are so fourtunate to be able to stay on the field with mighty Riverdale. Make no mistake about it, Rankin dominated more than us. We have someone now that we can match wits with.

Okay here is my honest assessment of the game. Offensive lines.....toss up, but slight advantage Riverdale Defensive lines....huge advantage to Smyrna Recievers.....huge advantage Smryna Defensive backs.....advantage Smyrna Backs....Huge advantage Smyrna Kicking games....advantage Smryna Quarterbacks.....Smith is good, but Gray will rebound. Advantage Smyrna Coaching....Huge Advantage for Smyrna Close game with Smryna winning by a 3.

Coming from a well informed person as yourself, I will consider this a compliment. Not on your life Goober! Wasn't there anyone on Rankin's staff qualified? After all they had one 4 state championships.

Smyrna vs Lavergne game should be packed. It would have been perfect if it had been the CSS game of the week. Everyone from both towns will be there. Let's all pray that every player will get through the game without any injuries. What we witnessed last Friday night should be an eye opener to everyone.

Why would I envy Riverdale now? Maybe when they were winning State Championships, but those days are over. They could have hired another good coach to replace Rankin, but no they had to go to Metro of all places to get a coach. Give me a break. Everyone knows that Metro is not the place to go to find a good football coach.
