They (the media in general) should concentrate on the youth of Tennessee in a positive manner. Let them know that we are proud that they are choosing their time wisely!!!!!! Why not add a section on high school sports????!!!!!! OH, AND REMEMBER THE POSITIVE SIDE, not always dwelling on the athletes that have made wrong choices or use something illegal. Personally I am tired of the media always focusing on the negative. I guess that would be another topic altogether!

Good for you! I applaud you for being a man and telling it like it was! That shows great maturity. Only you know how you feel and I do believe after your post that if you did not think you were capable of throwing that day ---you would have stood up for your self and said NO! I am proud of you!!!!

You may be quite but your words speak loud and clear. Education first - sports second. Don't get me wrong, sports are very important in mental and physical development, but education needs to be stressed. They will need to be able to read the contracts and count that money - at least watch the one who is.

seems to me that parents want coaches to baby sit.when they(players) get to college parents will see a new side of sports and not be able to "tell the coach" what to do, i tellem to get their stuff and get. they are in for a big shock.a coach must be shown respect (by all i am including parents) BUT they must continue to earn it,same goes for players.a coach has to do what they must to get the best out of each player and that maynot always be the same with each individual. if you don't want to play to win well go play uhhhhh a video game by yourself PUT YOUR BEST 9 OUT THERE!!!!!!PLAY TO WIN

Looks like Cheatham County is the only county to let the parents make the calls. I was at the game the other night and overheard parents stating that they did not agree with the suspension, it was brought on by just a couple of the parents. Having said that, my opinion is that Harpeth is a great team as they exibited last year and that they can do it again. Their fans are behind them and give their full support to them. I've watched their games for years and listened to the grumblings and been unknow to all, that is why I've chosen to have a voice here on CoachT, can't go the the administration as I am a fan only and haven't a leg to stand on. This years team seems to have many strengths and a possibly even better than last year. Players stand up and be proud, play as a team, win as a team, lose as a team and most important be the men you are capable of being on that field. Now is the time to forget your problems off the field and concentrate on the task at hand. I wish you the very best of luck and hope to see many games in May! I'll be there for support!
