  1. I already have a guy trying to welch out of 500 on another forum. 600 unpaid dollars won't do me any good. Read THIS and weep... NO SITTING PRESIDENT HAS EVER BEEN THIS FAR BEHIND GOING INTO LABOR DAY https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/no-sitting-president-was-as-far-behind-as-trump-going-into-the-conventions/
  2. Put this in your thesis... Herbert Hoover was regarded as one of the worst presidents of all time and still got 39% of the vote. As will trump.
  3. 26 pages of trump spewed conspiracy theory BS: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Conspiracy_theories_promoted_by_Donald_Trump
  4. Mercy rule, just based on a veteran team vs a rookie team.
  5. That is why it was in a list called "bogus and disingenuous (dishonest) arguments about masks." But in this current climate of insane paranoid conspiracy theory nonsense, you hear lots of bogus and disingenuous arguments about masks and everything else out there.
  6. So, if a place has a sign up that mask wearing is required, whether that is a doctor's office or Home Depot or a ball game.... then common sense and common decency would win out and people would do so or not enter said premises. Right? And people wouldn't whine and cry over wearing a mask for a few months to a few places and they could stop making bogus disingenuous arguments about "masks = socialism" or "I'm a real American, I don't have to" or "Jesus didn't wear a mask, so I ain't gonna neither" or "masks are a plot against whites and Christians" or "today's it's masks... tomorrow they will take away our guns" or etc etc etc etc
  7. What if the posted requirements are to wear a mask and as a citizen of the United States of America, I decide that I don't want to and the constitution doesn't say I have to. Then do I break the rules and go in maskless? Who is going to stop me? Who cares what kind of example this sets for the young people, to disregard rules and laws. When THEY end up in jail someday for drunk and disorderly, wife beating, etc, I can always claim selective amnesia and spout "it ain't my fault!! that ain't how I raised Junior!!"
  8. The addition of Rockvale and Stewie has diluted many of the zones plus a certain private school from Nashville recruiting and poaching some of the talent has not stopped. At least last fall people saw their bus making regular pickups and drop-offs near I-24 exits in Rutherford County.
  9. And mental midgets have the ignorance to call it a "hoax."
  10. My wife's uncle is in the hospital in Knoxville with it and that side of the family already lost one member in Florida to it. And mental midgets have the ignorance to call it a "hoax." This was in nearby Alabama last night. It will end up like the biker klandemic in Sturgis. Covid is already breaking out in three states from when the diseased tweeker bikers went back to where they came from and it's only starting.
  11. Meanwhile for those with actual literacy skills... Georgia State quarterback Mikele Colasurdo has been diagnosed with a heart condition as a result of contracting the coronavirus and won't be able to play football this season, he announced Thursday. The freshman and former three-star prospect from South Carolina arrived on campus in the spring.
  12. Actually, not only am I very pro-sports (including football... but would rather see it moved to spring for obvious reasons)... I actually HAVE a life... unlike the guy with almost FIVE THOUSAND posts on here. I would pity people like that except they are beyond redemption. They give sports a bad reputation.
  13. Stonecrest has a ventilator with your name on it, reserved for you.
  14. Actually, they do know about the lingering aftermath. https://news.weill.cornell.edu/news/2020/07/what-is-known-about-covid-19-and-abnormal-blood-clotting https://health.clevelandclinic.org/covid-19-can-also-damage-your-heart-not-just-your-lungs/ https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/coronavirus/what-coronavirus-does-to-the-lungs
  15. But-but-but-but.... It's a hoax. It will disappear like magic. It will be gone by Easter. It will be gone by Memorial Day. It will simply disappear in warm weather. It will go away if you drink Clorox. Just take the extract of toxic oleander flowers. It's no different than the common cold. Testing causes it. 5g causes it. Wearing a mask causes it. Kids can't catch it. --------------------------------------------------------------- Today's conspiracy theories are sponsored by QANON (tm)
  16. 5 Middle Tennessee counties close classrooms, entire schools after COVID-19 cases https://www.wkrn.com/community/health/coronavirus/5-counties-in-middle-tennessee-close-classrooms-entire-schools-after-covid-19-cases/
  17. That does explain quite a bit. By the way, you can tell your @55 buddy "swarm" that just because he is poor white trash, that doesn't make him a "christian" - just like trump tries to play one on t.v. but isn't.
  18. Those big city effeminate left wing socialist football haters.
  19. The RWNJs are soooooooooooooo pro-life... (how pro-life are they?) So "pro-life" that one of the head red-state RWNJs (Dan Patrick the Lt. Gov. of Texas) said that older citizens should just go on and buy the farm, that their life doesn't matter. An embryo the size of a tadpole vs an adult senior citizens who worked and paid taxes all of his or her life? That's the biggest problem with the RWNJs - hypocrisy. hy·poc·ri·sy /həˈpäkrəsē/ Learn to pronounce noun the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense.
  20. About 10 percent of Northeast Mississippi Community College’s student body and dozens of its employees are currently under quarantine. Great job there, deep south. Y'all are so smart about all that science stuff.
  21. The University of Notre Dame is moving all undergraduate instruction online for two weeks, and Michigan State University is going fully remote for the semester. He said 146 students and one staff member have tested positive for the virus since Aug. 3. He added that seniors living off-campus account for a large share of the cases, and most infections are coming from "off-campus gatherings where neither masks were worn nor physical distancing observed." Over the weekend, university officials released an alert that the people infected at two off-campus parties have since infected their close contacts.
  22. Wearing a mask during a pandemic is hardly socialism. People did it in 1918 and socialism didn't take over. Talk about "fear mongering." Ignorance seems to be perfected in this state.
  23. People have ignored the mask mandate in Rutherford County. Home Depot, Lowes, Kroger, Circle K, etc. None of them enforce it. Walmart, Publix, Target have tried. Sams Club in Murf. does not.
