This game turned out to be very high scroing, a number of things contributed to this including a tight strike zone and several errors. The game was very close until the 6th. Riverdale lead by 1 but a baserunning error ended the Blaze threat. Then four errors in the field doomed the Blaze to an ugly defeat by the scoreboard in what really was a one or two run game.

Blackman lost once again to Riverdale and will travel to Ooltewah on Friday. I imagine that Davenport will pitch for the Blaze but don't know anything about Ooltewah? How will this game turn out?

I Definetely say that MJ will be there as well as Germantown and Collierville.

Blackman and Riverdale play Wednesday night for the region 4AAA championship. Riverdale has beaten Blackman all three times they've played. But all have been by a margin of 2 or less. I say that BLACKMAN pulls one out 4-2. What do you think?

Clarksville doesn't stand a chance, unless MJ hits the self destruct this one is a blowout 12-1 MJ

Ok, before we start predicting champions lets begin by who you think will be in the spring fling. I think that Riverdale will make it and Blackman has a shot, but I don't know about other areas of the state,please post who you think will win their sectional games on Friday and secure a shot at the state title.

Shelbyville's only chance is if they pitch Brothers, even if they do that chance will still be small, Blackman hits very well and with Davenport on the mound is nearly unbeatable. Blackman 7 Shelbyville 2 ALL HAIL BLACKMAN HIGH!!!

I think Riverdale is just too strong, especially with Choate on the mound for a team such as Columbia. Riverdale 6 Columbia 1 Then I think Riverdale will meet Blackman on Wednesday.

For Blackman I think that Davenport will start. Seagroat threw three innings against R'Dale and could possibly start but I believe he'll be in relief.

It doesn't matter how much talent you have if you can't put it all together on the field! Siegel finished fourth in district for a reason... 3 teams were better than them. So stop crying and move on to next season so that you can make a better showing, You can have all the talent in the world and not win a game!! So GET OVER IT!!!!

With Riverdale and Blackman out of 7-AAA and Shelbyville and Columbia out of 8-AAA who will emerge as region 4 champs? Blackman goes to Shelbyville and Columbia visits Riverdale.What do you think?? With the way Blackman and Riverdale are playing I have to say that both of them will win their Monday night games.

Remember that Mt. Juliet although those are nice wins has been beat by Blackman a team who Riverdale put down twice in very close games.

I am not sure about Seagroat pitching, he pitched Saturday and he will probably pitch again on Monday, I think that Barnes might be going from what I hear. If Seagroat does throw today this game will probably be a pitchers' duel. Good Luck Guys!

Both teams have played two very close games with each other, can Blackman win their first crown or will Riverdale repeat again?
