Boyd your goin down!!! This one could get ugly quick, if we play like we did last week. Go Owls Smith County - 35 Boyd Buchanan - 7 Look to see a lot of passing, and catching, and scoring, from the OWLS that is!!!!!! Just figured I'd fire things up a bit

She is definitly not a liability. I noticed one thing though watching Smith the other day. The girls look for her a lot, as they should, but almost so much some weren't looking to shoot, and ended up turning it over trying to get it to her, when they had a shot. Best thing to do, if she's got girls on here, just shoot it. If you miss, she's prolly gonna rebound it. She has a lot of talent though for someone her size and age, I look to see Pat Summit coming to Smith County in a couple of years!

Yea, RBS was pretty weak. SC didnt play real good, but enough to win. We have played 2 scrimmages without 4 main players. A couple of underclassmen have played pretty well in the scrimmages so far.

Thats a Hall of Fame game if I'm not mistaken on the 18th. I believe Upperman played in a playday at Shelbyville this past Saturday if not mistaken, or maybe its going to be this Saturday. If anyone knows how they did, post.

I guess where ever mom and dad decide. lol. Yea, I believe I'm prolly riding with the parents to this one, not to many friends making the trip. Definitly not driving anyways. I'd kinda like some wings where ever I go. Hooters or Toots, have some of the best I think! Nothing wrong with food talk, I was just makin a joke, as well as stating the obvious.

I think there has been more food talk, and where to eat at on this board than football talk. lol. Isn't there a game this friday night? Kind of an important one if I'm not mistaken.

District is down some what. 8AA is down a little as well from what I hear. We'll get an early look at how 7AA might do this year, with Upperman playing White House in a Hall of Fame game. Smith also plays WHHS, as well as Station Camp, and DCA. I don't know what kind of region schedules some of the other teams have, but I definitly do not see 7AA getting swept this year.

If it works out, and we both win, it will be a packed house in Westmoreland, kind a like the playoff atmosphere of when we played LA and Portland a couple of years ago. That was one of the best. But like you said we must worry about this week first.

Will LA, Smith, and Clarkrange all scrimmage each other, or does Clarkrange just play both? I didn't know if Smith and LA would scrimmage being that they are in the same district, just wondering.

How have the teams of 7AA been doing in scrimmages and playdays? Lets get some comments.

I wouldn't base a whole lot on a jamboree, and how can you not respect Satterfield??? Good teams year in and year out, no matter what class he is in. Couple of State Titles, I dunno how many exactly. But he is a great coach, as is Kelly. Good luck to both teams. I'd like to see Westmoreland win so we can come back up there. Good Luck Eagles

Jim Brown taught her well. Anyone who comes out of there knows how to play. He is a great coach.

The Smith County girls scrimmaged Clarkrange today. They looked pretty good at times, especially early. Clarhrange fell behind early by about 14 or 16, and played pretty good to come back and win by about 12. Clarkrange began pressing in the second half, and gave SC guards a pretty rough time. SC didnt handle the ball well, and it cost them. The big girl played pretty good, Clarkrange took it at her, and she blocked quite a bit of shots, and rebounded good to. Clarkrange played ok defense on her, about as good as they could. She has pretty good touch and a nice shot for someone of her size, and ran the floor pretty good. It was a pretty good game to watch.

As far as region tourney goes, I think 7AA should probably sweep it shouldn't they? Or atleast go 3-1. I can't imagine Smith, LA, or Upperman losing. I don't know much about 8AA girls. What are some thoughts about this.

You are right, I graduated in 05. They swept us last year and in 04. I'm pretty sure thats right. To the best of my knowledge.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying. 7AA is getting better, and I think this year, could be a turning point for our district.

In Case you didn't know zonepirate, glover knows everything about football, and everything else for that matter, but he is also the supreme authority on coacht. It's useless to argue with him.

Surelly he wouldn't but who knows. If they'll run a home town boy out, theres a good chance. I highly doubt it though. Unless LA finishes at the bottom of the district, which will not happen.
