  1. What is the breakdown of players per class? How many seniors, juniors, sophomores, freshmen? I've seen them play over the years, and they always seem to play hard. Good Luck.
  2. It will be exciting no doubt. Can't wait to watch some round ball. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  3. October 27th is getting closer! And that means basketball season is just around the corner! I cant wait for some basketball!
  4. The girls from G-Ville will rise to the top.
  5. How are any of the other teams shaping-up for the season ahead?
  6. I think he is a great coach and the arrogance just adds to why some people dont like him a side from him being a proven winner. LA will go back to state this year, and I think the Bees can get there to, if they both stay injury free, they will be tough teams throughout.
  7. I dont think he means attitude with/towards players. I may be wrong about this but I beleive Coach Melton's attitude is what about made him lose his job last summer. I think he actually did, but was rehired shortly after.
  8. That held true this past MLB post season, my poor Cubs self destructed yet again /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
  9. I got some friends at Upperman. Just not a big LA fan to, but I'll pull for them if they are in the state or against someone from 8AA. Inside this district though, I'll pull for Upperman, and SC.
  10. So we got one saying it will be a 7A showdown in the finals. Just as easy as it could be a 7A sweep, it could be an 8A sweep. G-ville and FCS return all but one player from last years rosters and will be tough outs. I was just wondering really what region 3A will be returning, if there are any teams down there that are suppose to make some noise in the boro this year, and what kind of chance the teams from 4A have at making it to the state.
  11. How will this region shape up this year? Who is going to be in the region finals at the end of the season, and do any teams from region 4A have a shot against the region 3A teams in the sub-state?
  12. From what I've heard, they have had the meeting, and of course Clay was first, C-range 2nd, with RBS, JC, and Monterey fighting for 3-5 and PC was actually picked last! Guarantee they wont end up there. Wonder when the last time they were picked last in 7A?
  13. Congrats to G-ville Jr. High. This was a good game and the 2nd half was very interesting. LA's offense didnt get the ball the whole 3rd quarter but their D scored their only second half points on a fumble recovery, and ran it in for 6. I beieve LA only had one drive the whole 2nd half on offense and that was the last of the game which ended on about the one yard line. It was very interesting to in that LA's coaches and players didnt know what down it was the last play of the game and the qb spiked the ball on 4th down with 3 seconds left on the clock, giving the ball back to the Tigers for the W. Congrats boys on a great season. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Now get ready for some basketball! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  14. Doubt Cannon will crack the top 4 or 5. Didnt impress to much at camp but it is camp. Good luck to Coach Appke at SC, and Good luck to the Bees of Uppermania. Knock off the Wildcats. But I believe this region belongs to 7AA
  15. You're right, Friendship will add someone from somewhere. Gordonsville has picked up a transfer from Carthage, and a transfer from Ezell-Harding. But, Trousdale and Westmoreland will still factor heavily in the final outcome of regular season and tournament play. No doubt about it...it will be competitive and it will be fun. Good luck to everyone in 7A as well. We play Clay, Red Boiling, Monterey in the regular season; and scrimmage Clarkrange and Pickett, so we will get a taste of District 7A throughout the season. See ya down the road.
  16. Patience, Patience...I'm with you. It's getting oh so close to...Go Time!
  17. Didn't they have about 4 or 5 to graduate? If they did, it will be hard for them to get the number 1 spot. It can happen. Coach Graves does a great job, and always has his team ready to play. Trousdale Co. only lost 2, (I think); Friendship lost 1, and Gordonsville only lost 1. Those teams should be pretty good. Every night will be exciting. It's going to be fun.
  18. We will see on November 25th if Clay County is as good as advertised.
  19. There will be some teams form 8A that will have a little something to say about Clay taking this region. Gordonsville and Friendship only lost one player each from last years rosters I believe. Should be an interesting year, Gordonsville goes to Clay in late November, that could give us some insight on the region early.
  20. it was just a little bit different situation, powder puff to bball games, lol.
  21. How can teams really be ready with barely a week of practice under their belt, practice begins the 27th of October I believe, that would really be pushing it, unless some teams are already practicing /ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />
  22. I thought that was Joshua but wasnt sure, thanks for the update though Termite, hope Bobby and Joshua get to doing better, btw when did Rooster become Roster? lol As for the reffing, I didnt want to be one of those refs who decides the game, just thought me and JP would let the girls duke it out, make the obvious calls.....lol /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
