Waverly won pretty big tonight. I cant remember the final but it was by 25 or more. First off the Ricco show was unbelievable. He had 20+ pts & 2 great dunks. The first dunk was a break away one handed and then the second one was off the backboard by fellow classmate Johnathon Leonard and it was just beautifull. Bubba had about 15 pts i do believe also Curtis Reid had a nice game with good jump shots. Hollis also did great hustling and good post play. Look for this team to be a contender in Region play. GO TIGERS

Waverly plays Creekwood tonight at Waverly. Give your opinion on who will win and the keys to the game. Come and watch the Ricco show if possible.

Gomab the whole class of 2005 at WCHS is just loaded with talent. Ricco is a great all around player. He is lightning quick handles the ball beautifully and hits about 40-50% of his 3's. He penetrates well and goes up strong to the basket every time. Curtis Reid also a Jr. has great talent as well. He shoots the jumper really well and can also hit from behind the arc. You need to keep a strong eye on these two guys. He also can post up some and usually hit the layup or shot. Ryan Hollis is also someone else to watch he is a strong post player and rebounds well also. Hollis is usually automatic from the free throw line and he can shoot well from 15 foot and in. The next game that is home is on Friday the 19th. Also come and check out our new and improved student section we havent had one of those in like 3-5 years. (We will be playing Creekwood)

Waverly beat PC tonight 74-60 if mistaken please correct the score. Anyways, Waverly was very streaky during the first 3 quarters. Ryan Hollis was a key contributor throughout the whole game. Bubba Nichols was a little streaky the first half but late 3rd and 4th quarter he was lighting it up from behind the arc. Ricco Ralston also had a great game handling the ball like he always does with style, control, and precision passing. Also a nice dunk in the 2nd half by him was beautiful and turned the momentum greatly. Great game tonight boys. Houston County tommorow 6:30 Home. Go Tigers

Well, there was a classic match this afternoon. Waverly was really looking great on the court and McEwen isnt to bad at all. Waverly has really good outside shooting mainly coming from Bubba Nichols. Waverly is going to have a great year with a defeat over McEwen, a little over 25 points. Lets hear some of your comments on this scrimmage. GO TIGERS

The Goodwin kid that is a fresh. is real good. His brother Josh Goodwin who goes to Belmont now has the potential to be better than his brother. he is a great outside shooter. Plays Varsity.

I think this will be a hard faught game till the buzzer. If Bubba Nichols is on fire and Ricco Ralston is playing well as usual Waverly will take this one home. Only big problem i see is someone being able to defend Dansby. Harpeth also has pretty good outside shooting as usual. My prediction is Waverly by 5 or more.

I guess you cant handle them elbows or what is it. I mean in bball you do get physical you know that right. Harpeth over Mont. Central in District Championship.

I think this game could go either way. Henry Co. provides good competition every yr. for Waverly. Waverly by 8 or more.

Russel is a graduated person from McEwen HS. Like before the Scrimmage with Waverly and McEwen football this yr he said that McEwen was going to kill Waverly and all that crap. Of course he is going to dog on Waverly athletics cause he is from McEwen. Thats who russel is.
