Great win tonight for the Tigers. And about the student section why does it matter if their is a high percentage of girls? Why would you want to settle something anyways fighting is not the way in life. Did you not learn in your violence prevention days during DARE back in Jr High? I guess you guys arent making the trip back from Howenwald tomorrow night are you because you didnt have the refs tonight like you did over there where you guys only had 7 fouls called on you. Also, a note about cleaning the floor after Harpeth beats Cheatham. I think this will be very interesting and very aggressive play. I see the Harpeth and Cheatham fans getting the gym fired up and some possible brawls between some parents jk. But looking forward to tomorrow night. GO TIGERS!

Should be a good game depends on how RD's intensity within the game plays out. I see Waverly winning by 15. Defense has looked very strong for Waverly the past 2 games and I think Rawlings has worked most of the bugs out. Hope to see Ricco bringing home that MVP especially after a great show last night. Very good game tonight by the Tigers. I was getting a little nervous after Barksdale hit 2 in a row. When Sycamore gets hott man it just makes you want to leave. I remember the 18 3's last year that was a heartbreaker. But to the student issue he wasnt the one saying the profane language it was actually a former HS student at Waverly that was cursing. The ref was old and maybe he misunderstood a few things, but I hope Hunter can make it back to the game Friday night to see that District Champions plaque to sit beside that Tennis District Championship from last year. Go Tigers!

Also, Bubba plays at a local indoor court at JERA during the week and he can still light it up from anywhere.

Roman just plays at the local parks thats about all. Still has skills. And appears to be healthy.

Cant wait for this tournament to begin. It is going to be some great basketball with tough games for EVERY team in the district. To bad there isnt any fast food in ole Dover. I am wondering where all of these district fans are going to munch down when hungry. Other than that anything can happen, I am sure every team is looking for that District Title or to win the consolation game. As a Waverly fan I believe all of the Cheatham Co. teams have a large chance of defeating us and nobody from Wavo thinks we are so awesome or anything like that. Great tourney indeed coming up just I am sure every school is wishing it was some where else. GO TIGERS!!

Lewis County played great defense tonight and has really improved over the season. Also, the game was basically 5 on 8 becuz those referees were absolutely horrible. They called a total of 6-7 fouls on LC and Hollis was getting hacked all night. A hard fought game and good luck to LC for the rest of the season also props to a decent student section. Also I was walking to the parking lot and I asked one of LC's coaches were those refs were from and he plainly said they were horrible. The refs looked as if they were ready for a retirement home. Dont let this loss get you down TIGERS. We will beat them in region if need be.

Friday night is a key match-up for both teams. This could be another close one as it was with Cheatham Co. If Sycamore is raining 3's like they usually do I think it will be very close but I think Waverly will have to contain the Bullard guy or whatever his last name is because he was burning our post guys all night with that beautiful spin move. But I do see the Tigers winning by 10. GO TIGERS

All I see Dotson doing in Knoxville is holding his hand on his cheek handing water to the players. He is so weak inside. He is to slow for SEC play. UT didnt get lucky to get Dotson he is the one who is lucky. Just because another recruit went some where else and then they recruited him. Dotson will not be playing a lick in UT and T. Smith will show him how to score. He had 14 as previously stated by TED and also everyone knows that VolDawg is his daddy trying to cover up for his awful performance last night.

Hickman Co. plays at Waverly tonight. Hickman Co. won by 3 earlier this season and I think this will be a down to the wire game. Dotson will be a large factor in the game and I believe the Tigers will take this one by 10.

Dickson Co. controlled the first half with Mr. Pflieger scoring when he wanted. Then the Tigers in the 2nd half turned things around down by about 14 at half. Waverly battled back and with 7 seconds left down 55-57 Leonard caps a three and wins the game. Great game and awesome fan support by Waverly.

Harpeth plays at Waverly friday night. I dont see Harpeth taking down the Tigers at Waverly because we only have lost once at home to Jackson NS. Crowd is a factor and RD will not be able to handle the heck raising of the student section. RD will be getting bogged down hardcore from our students. He will be crying so much with Ricco in his grill. Tigers by 20.

Rex is the golf pro of THE TPC at Sawgrass, a star of Waverly Central back in the 90's, an excellent bench player for Belmont, and an English major.

A good win by the Tigers on the road. Ricco dropping 23 points 6 steals and 6 assists. Sycamore still has its outside shooting and I think will meet Waverly in the district champioship pending on the seeding for the tournament. I dont see Waverly losing a district game this year. The Wavo Tigers can outplay anyone and the home crowd has improved over the past years. I remember it just seemed it was kind of dull in the gym. It is still kind of hard to get the fans into it but it is improving. Everyone friday is going to be crazy for Harpeth. I am looking forward to Monkey Central tuesday and Harpeth friday. Cant wait to see my Tigers play this week. GO TIGERS!!!

Cheatham blew out Sycamore in Pleasant View. Look for the same from the Tigers. I dont know if Sycamore can contain Ricco look for 25+ points from Mr. Ralston. Sycamore is awful and all they have is the awesome waterboy.

Nobody from Waverly is thinking blowout. We know how Sycamore is or anybody in the district is when playing Waverly. Everybody is always pumped to play Waverly becuase we have a long history of great basketball. So, no blowout in Sycamore come Friday. But I will say hope you guys have someone to stop Ricco Ralston becuz Mr. True is not there anymore. Just to let you know nobody has yet to stop Ricco from driving down the lane and scoring, not the Delk's nobody. Also, no more Logan Pierce or do you guys have someone that can play the post? Sorry catfish but Creek Wood isn't a big win. Creekwood is like beating McEwen. You will be in for a test this Friday night. I dont see you guys hitting 18 3's from behind the arc again. I think this will be a close game in the end, but Waverly is the favorite and will most likely win the game. So, your 2nd big win will not come Friday. We will not be the same as Creekwood. So I just want you to know Creekwood is not a "BIG" win. GO Tigers

I was just wondering why Tyler Smith went to such a low quality basketball school. I was thinking maybe he wanted to go to Knoxville so he could be with a bunch of thugs and play streetball. Yes Tyler is good but why UT. I mean Matthew Dotson went to UT. I cant believe UT didnt recruit the Delk twins but they are better than Tyler and that is why they went to the better school of MSU. But Waverly will have to bring their A game to beat Giles Co. in Region but I believe they can beat them.

Watch tonight hawkeye and you will see an easy win by the Tigers. I never said the rest of the schedule was easy thank you.

Waverly plays at Harpeth on Tuesday. I think that Waverly should take this one easily after coming off a had faught game against Jackson NS tonight. If Robert Derrick a.k.a. RD is playing I think it might be a little closer. But for the most part no more Shane Dansby so Harpeth is down this year. Harpeth will still be able to shoot outside and have some speed. I have heard that they arent that good but never know. The real test is Friday at Sycamore. Keep your heads high after the loss to NS. GO TIGERS!

Let me guess you are from Distrist 9AA? Wins over Perry Co a very quality A team in the past. Dickson Co. with SG Cory Pflieger. Henry Co. twice and the second win against Henry down by 25 and ended up winning by 8. Lost to NorthSide by 17 and was in the game for the most part. Lost to Hickman Co. by 3 will beat them at home.
