  1. Well if I knew what you were saying, maybe I and the others would reply.
  2. better than vapors?!....mecurials are the best cleats i ever wore....too bad they lasted me only one season
  3. Nice to see Dyersburg ranked at #19.
  4. and i hope that fabulous will show against ohio state in the BCS Championship. Back on topic, Vick, you're a beast and staying in the burg when your friends desert you should speak about your character in itself. I've been going to school with you all my life so clearly, some LEGAL elbows in a basketball game cannot diminish your character and fans who do not know you, have no right to label you period.
  5. If you want to point fingers at players who lack class, what about BA Davis walking up to Vick,Caldwell, and others before the football game and telling them that they will not walk off the field at the end of the game?
  6. So you're saying that a player has the right to use physical force in order to serve as consequence for being elbowed simply due to the fact that the REFS did not call the foul(s) on the player that threw the elbows, even if that player was intentionally throwing them? And you seem to think that retaliation is a REQUIREMENT. Simply puting a player on the bench because YOU think the player threw elbows that the refs did not call is ridiculous. Here is a solution. Why not get better refs? Why not find refs who aren't already coaches of high school teams.
  7. I did not see Vick shove anybody before the game. Clearly, his attitude after being hit in the face should disprove any claim that he shoved a player during any part of the game. And yes, they are choctaw players now. Thank you for stateing the obvious.
  8. Dyer County pulled a win out. Pathetic Refs started to let the boys actually play in the first few minutes of the second half but went back to poor calls on the court. I dont see how a Milan baseball coach is allowed to ref basketball games, especially since Dyersburg was involved. This should be a wake up call for Dyer County, because if they think it will be easy getting back to state, they will need to play better with Dyersburgs old players on their team.
  9. alright i'm done accusing anyone of "paying off" any refs...it was just something i said while being upset off about the game.Good game Madison.
  10. if you're talking about the ref vs. Dyersburg game....sorry Madison vs. Dyersburg it has been posted already....2-0 Madison
  11. how it should of been?...i'm guessing the ref told you're team that after the game
  12. Barely finance?...i don't think financing is a major issue for most schools.Support seems like a more major factor.Just finding coaches and enough players is a more important issue.Although,it's a completely different story for major public/private schools where parents/coaches take it more seriously and the money is there as well as the support. With that being said, you never know what these coaches/schools will do.
  13. agreed, which is why i clearly stated in the beginning of my post that the ref didn't cost us the game.Although,he did make a large impact by blowing numerous calls that gave your team possession.I also agree with you that we had minimal opportunities.Horrible passing on our part, foolish yellow cards on our star players, and a idiotic ref resulted in the loss.I'm just glad the referees will be better at region tournys.Plus the fact there will be more than one ref.
  14. After watching the referees this season in West TN(particulary in the Dyersburg/Gibson County & Dyersburg/Madison Athletic games) I have to wonder if the judgement on the pitch can get any worse. Not to say that the referees cost Dyersburg the game in both matches(which for a most part they did) but the biasm involved is phenominal.I think that Soccer is a physical game and should be played with intensity but when one team(or player) crosses the line there has to be punishment.Unfortunately, the rules are not concrete and rest on official's "opinion".I'm not speaking about calls that could have gone either way.I'm talking about calls that make players, coaches, and fans of BOTH teams to wonder if their players are playing a soccer game or a ref game.In both instances the referee allowed one team to play extremely aggressive yet when Dyersburg players simply responded they were fouled and in many cases carded. Now I have firm suspicion that maybe the refs are being paid off and I wonder if I even want to play my senior year in 2008.
  15. undefeated?!...scott hills?!....no offense but what kind of schedule do they have?
  16. I don't know if many people keep up with the Memphis Redbirds but a few seasons ago their SS,Stubby Clapp would do backflips before each inning.Ozzie is one of my all-time favorites.Truely a master at his position.
  17. thanks...i thought someone was trying to play another april fools joke again
  18. I think those are the cleats Laydown have...Addidas F-50 Units?
  19. The suit claims that coaches allowed player Josh McMurray, then a senior at Page, to participate in a soccer match when they had known that McMurray had a history of extremely aggressive behavior. Well there you go
  20. i see.Well,I guess you get what you paid for.I paid $30 for my low-end Pumas and the toe is as tough as the shoes i wear to school. Now that I have a job I plan on buying some real predators.
  21. yeah, with all the things that our 2 refs let bye we could use another one.
  22. USJ 9-0?!...when did their season start?
  23. i wonder if the nike steam cleats are any good...they are similar to vapors with a smaller price tag
