  1. Stewart Co. fell shy of expectations last season because they did not even get to go to the Regional Tournament due to the fact that the Rebels were beaten in the opening round of the District Tournament. That is not very good for a team that has Jake West & Jared Lancaster on the floor. Those two guys never got the help from the supporting cast that they truly needed to get throughout last season. That's why they struggled late. Two year ago I picked Stewart Co. to go to the Regional Tourney and they did behind Jake West's dominating season in 2005-2006. They played Bolivar Central very close for a half that year but got blew off of the floor by Kemp & Chism in the second half of play. When the Rebels beat Sycamore that season in the game right before the Christmas Break Holidays that proved to everyone that they were for real. This year the Rebels are going to STRUGGLE GREATLY!!!! If it hurts feelings then that is too bad but it's the truth. DEAL WITH IT PEOPLE!!!!

  4. Same goes to you guys out there in 12AA /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. I hope he plays this week GBCat2 because he's a very good football player. I have yet to see a Greenbrier game this season where he was actually blocked by the other team. He is a warrior.
  6. I figured I would edit your post for you and properly spell "Lipscomb" who BTW you guys will not be beating next year. I have constantly read where teams like Marshall Co. & Giles Co. have beaten folks this year and suddenly they believe that they are going to beat DL. After the Mustangs clobber them then someone like Hawse40 gets on CoachT and makes a comment suggesting that DL should be playing "private schools". If that's going to be an excuse after you lose to the Mustangs then PLEASE do me a favor and don't start proclaiming that Giles will beat David Lipscomb. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN!!!!!
  7. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Justin Smith (aka Jughead) has been thrown off of the football team for the last two years now. Gregory was a 1,400 yard back last year who played 1 GAME this season and then got kicked off of the team and out of the school altogether because of his troubles. IT'S A SAD SITUATION THERE BUT I BELIEVE IF HE GETS HIS LIFE BACK TOGETHER THEN HE'LL BE ABLE TO GET A SHOT TO PLAY SOMEWHERE AT THE NEXT LEVEL!!!! Coach Brunetti would do anything in his pwer to help Deaveon out I assure you. Jughead is not a tough loss because he was a mediocre football player at best playing end on a defense that has great players all over the field.
  8. It a scrimmage for crying out loud folks. It's not like the team was trying to win the state title game /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Come and watch the War Eagles tomorrow night against White House. Lady Cubs RETURN: Megan Hunter Meredith Hunt Lizzie Walker Shelby Marvel Sara Doty Chelsea Olds Hannah Tweedy Amber Duncan Rachel Balthrop READ MY WORDS WHEN I SAY THAT COACH PHIL CARR'S BUNCH IS ABOUT TO BEAT THE BRAKES OFF OF A LOT OF TEAMS IN THE DISTRICT THIS YEAR!!!!! 16. So what you are telling me is that White House is not going to be much of a challenge for Sycamore this week right????? I was really looking forward to that contest in two nights also darn it.
  17. I am sorry I totally left the young man from Harpeth off of my list. He should have a great season next year on a team that is geared up to make a real run next year.

  19. That district is very good with CPA & Pearl Cohn leading the way. Both of those teams are going to make serious runs in AA. White House finished in the "Final 4" in Class AA last year. They play Sycamore in the very near future. I can't wait to see how SHS fares against the Blue Devils.
  20. I know as of last week my team is done and eliminated HOWEVER it has to be noted that Pearl Cohn is the team in this series that has the right to be cocky. Last year PC was 6-3 and SC was 9-0 heading into week ten and the region title showdown at Station Camp. The Bison came out and took the game early but in the end in the pouring down rain in the fourth quarter it was Deaunte Mason and Rashad Mason who stole the show and ended the Station Camp bid for perfection 21-16. In the process Randall Toney, who was stopped by NOBODY up to that point in the season, was held to 12 carries for 9 yards on the night. This year the two teams met in week ten again. Pearl Cohn was a 7-2 team that lost to White House & very well could have lost to Greenbrier. Station Camp was the 9-0 team looking again "perfect" after destroying Greenbrier and then beating White House at their own place on "Senior Night". The Firebirds wasted little time in that game as they jumped all over Station Camp and cruised to an easy 20-3 victory. In those two games the formula has been SIMPLE!!!! I know that many on here give Coach Brunetti & the Pearl Cohn coaching staff little credit for what they've done HOWEVER when it comes to playing Station Camp the truth is that they've got the Bison figured out like no other team does. Coach Hollinsworth will be the first to tell you the same thing. Pearl Cohn has came out and whipped Station Camp up front on both sides of the football in both of those games. The Firebirds have ran the football and made their "big plays" in the passing game & at the same time the Firebirds have slowed down the "Wing-T" like the rest of Region 4-3A has not been able to for the last two years. YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE PEOPLE!!!!! Station Camp can't just decide this week that they'll suddenly rush for 300 yards on offense against the PC defense like they do against everyone else. They can't just decide that they'll put pressure on Mason and sack him 20 TIMES like some may be led into believing. IN MY EYES YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO PROVE IT BEFORE YOU CAN TALK IT!!!!! Pearl Cohn has done this against Station Camp and until I see otherwise I am going to believe that it will happen AGAIN!!!! It's not all talent either as Station Camp does have a 4A sized Class 3A school and plenty of athletes to choose from. Pearl Cohn is a 2A sized Class 3A school when you look at the enrollment. That's a losing argument for anyone who wants to go down that road with me.
  21. Caleb Simpson from David Lipscomb & TJ Dollard from Creek Wood will be good also. Simpson has had a great season and he returns Rogers at WR next year. Dollard will be in his third year as starting QB at the Wood.
  22. If either of these teams scores 30 in this game I for one will be SHOCKED /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  23. That's Jerry Henry but thank you very much for getting this fine young man the recognition that he deserves. He poured everything he had into the football program at CCCHS for the last four years and I wish him the very best of luck in the future. I HOPE SOMEONE WILL SIGN HIM BECAUSE HE CAN PLAY AT THE NEXT LEVEL. I would love to see him play at an OVC type of school like APSU, TTU, TSU, SEMO, UTM, MSU, etc. I will post my personal All-Region list later but this region has several fine football players on several quality teams. Good Luck to David Lipscomb & Marshall Co. the rest of the way!!!!!
  24. As do I soccerdad /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Good Luck to David Lipscomb the rest of the way. I hope that you guys win it all and represent our region well as usual.
  25. I like Fayette Ware to win at home. They have an explosive offense with #4, #6, & #17. Both #5 & #7 are very capable quarterbacks. I don't believe FW will lose at home with a shot to play in the quarterfinals on "Thanksgiving Weekend". Fayette Ware: 28 Bolivar Central: 20
