  1. If Lipscomb and Giles meet in Round 3, they will play at Giles And I agree if you play Lipscomb it is hard to be the ref's. Even with Lipscomb on the road the ref's carpool with the team /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. Kellen Gower -- Marshall County -- MTSU (Student) Recieved offer from UTC -- Never committed or enrolled. Senior year of injuries and a bad coaching situation burnt this kid out. I was told by his mom he liked everything about UTC but wasn't comfortable with Coach Allison. I feel that falls back on what he was subjected to his Junior and Senior years at MCHS
  3. Great Game from both teams -- had to listen on internet from out of town and I hate that. Marshall County played with respect in a very tough situation and came up short. Guys - hold your heads high, MC is very proud of what you did this year and you have nothing to feel bad about. Our prayer is that in the 09 realignment Privates will be where they belong -- in Division I or II and powerhouse teams such as Lipscomb will be playing where they belong.
  4. I do look for it to be a better game. All players that were out for MC in the first game have returned except for one. The ones that are back are still a little bruised up and will have to step up and make some plays, especially since they are all seniors. I am a diehard MC fan, always have been and always will and I think that MC has the team to beat Lipscomb, there are a lot of things that will have to happen for that to happen. If Lipscomb wins -- I will guarantee you that it won't be by 35 points or more -- Take that to the bank I say MC by a TD ................ Bring your A-Game that is what it will take to win this game ps -- Whats the chance of DL renting some bleachers for a crowd like the one that will be in Nashville again this week. I was there at 6:15 PM in week 9 and all 25 seats on the visiting side were taken /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  5. MC may get beat -- but I doubt anyone will go paint the field with any predictions Like I posted -- enjoy cleaning out your locker this week /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  6. Well ---- To whomever painted the field before last weeks game at Marshall County ---- enjoy cleaning out your locker this week. You may have kicked Marshall Counties butt last week --but you got yours handed to you tonight. Always remember this ---- What goes around comes around. It was your turn this week so my sources say !!!!!!!!!!
  7. I am on the road -- gotta love your verizon wireless card /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Bump to the top /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  8. Marshall County leaves Jackson with a win over a very good Southside team. Marshall County with a 14-0 lead at halftime gave up 14 points in the 3rd quarter. Marshall County came back in the 4th with a 13 play 85 yard scoring drive to take the lead and come home victorious. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Great game guys -- Lets get some food, go back to God's country and get ready for a rematch of week 9.
  9. Elaborate on your statement -- "Big Games" "This Stage" ????????????? Marshall County has been in plenty of big games dating back to the 70's I don't know where Legendville is, but apparently the sun only shines there once a year and the news only comes around every other year. Marshall County has played in as many big games as Lipscomb has, maybe just not lately. The big game theory of yours is bogus -- every game since Week 1 has been big and your so called stage -- give me a break. I am trying to match wits with an unarmed man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  10. Well this should be a defensive slugfest and possibly the last man standing takes all game. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> These two teams are pretty much carbon copies of each other -- Both are scoring machines offensively and both are very tough on defense giving up very few points. Line up and make statements, predictions or just get it off of your chest. Just keep it nice and don't get the thread closed (which shouldn't be a problem). Everyone knows where I stand in this game, but I will not post a score or prediction until game time draws near.
  11. There is at least one more player on that defense -- Rumor has it that another SEC school is looking at Michael Murphy. Don't know how true it is but I was told that LSU has been in contact and is interested in Murphy Keep up the good work guys -- Huge Rewards will come in time
  12. Someone posed the question in an earlier post -- Do you believe in miracles?? My answer is yes and whether a miracle or not -- DL can be beaten on any given night -- don't believe me ask any DL fan that was in Lewisburg a few years ago. The many prayers of the DL faithful never made it out of the jungle and Marshall County put the Mustangs out to pasture on that Friday evening. Say what you want concerning a clock that did or didn't run -- that is just one more facet of the game that could go either way. I would love to see GC beat Lipscomb for the simple reason - it will just add a little more flavor to an already intense rivalry when GC and MC play in a few weeks. Go Cats -- This MC fan has faith in you /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  13. A yoyo -- he's up, he's down, he's up, he's down. Yoyo -- I have no idea what made you think that in your third post here on the T you are anything other than a pretender yourself. The only other thing that I have to say concerning your post is thanks for the locker room material. I know of 75 young men who would like to show you personally how much of a pretender they really are. The best team that Marshall County has on tap this week is the game with the Spring Hill Raiders. If for no other reason that Spring Hill gets up for this game then it is the connection to Marshall County and their head coach. Being a one time Tiger player is the best reason for Coach McKnight to want to win this game. Marshall County should win this game convincingly if you compare the two teams on paper -- but we all know the game isn't played on paper. Guys -- Keep you're heads screwed on straight and take care of the business at hand which is Spring Hill -- See ya there
  14. Coach(?) Johnson -- he is an old Tiger Player who can't give it up. He played on I think the 70-72 team. He works with the kickers and is doing a good job for someone who does it for no ther reason than the love of the game. Sorry I missed the game -- to many irons in the fire at this time
