  1. im pretty sure my coach played for that team
  2. that was absolutely pointless to repost that
  3. ahahahahahaha...you and ur cheating team..dontcha love that excuse for losing
  4. The D-line has some powerful reinforcements this week...you'll like it i promise
  5. ahahahahaha...the score will be higher than that for Lavergne....im thinkin like 30-40 for each team...Lavergne's offense comes together big time this week
  6. Amen..i hype for this one...the D-Line wont be as weak as everyone expects it to be this week haha
  7. I saw Oakland at Lavergne's passin camp and i thought they threw the ball pretty well....or maybe im mistaken...then again you cant really judge that b/c the game in itself is totally different then a passing camp
  8. Smyrna's O-line did do a good job..by that i mean this: smyrna has two running backs that can hit a hole quicker than most...all they need is about a second and they are gone....not to mention they did good against the weakest position unit on LaVergne's team...we'll see when they face Riverdale's D-Line
  9. the pass he caught on the sideline that he rolled over and then lost the ball they called it a fumble...and the other one that he caught and they called incomplete
  10. no excuse here but the refs were pretty dumb... how bout the touchdown where Ukwu recovered it on the 2 yard line and hendricks walks into the endzone with no ball in his hand but yet it is a touchdown? or the play that horton rolled on the ground and it was a fumble? or the play horton caught a 30 yard pass and held it up...but was called incomplete? now refs can be a little iffy when it comes to little stuff like holding and personal foul...but like it seemed everytime there was a big play it went in smyrnas favor
  11. smyrna played very smart football...they knew that our defense was weak and they ran the clock down very well...LaVergne's offense is so used to last year when whenever the D got a 3rd down we knew they'd stop em and we'd be back on the field...this year that isnt the case...too many times did we get up and go sit back down and wait for about a 15 minute drive (or wat it seemed) to be over and watch the score get even higher...as for the o-line...it was good...but we had tillery in who would try to bounce it to a side where the play wasnt designed and would make the line look bad...as for Ramsey..he's a very smart back who i would love to see play a heck of a lot more...he reads the holes well and has the ability to take on a hit and keep goin
  12. Lavergne scored 20 points on the Dale's first D
  13. i didnt get to see the scrimmage....i heard smyrna was terrible lacking at the Offensive Line position...any comments on that? also...wat time is the scrimmage against overton and where at?
  14. both teams will battle hard throughout the game...but Oakland will finish it off and get one in the left column
  15. but see..heres the thing...you cant truly tell anyone's ability to beat another team on friday night by who they played in scrimmages during camp...most of the time players are just out there b/c they have to be...its all about heart...whichever team "wants" to be out there in the heat and battle will most likely win the scrimmage....being on the field many LC players were talking about how hot it was and how they just wanted to go home...players dont do that on friday night
  16. exactly...altho some are expectin riverdale to come out and be not as good as in years past i dont think thats the case...they are riverdale and thats wat they do...they win...i just think it wont be as easy this year b/c they have some contenders in LaVergne and smyrna
  17. understandable...i still think siegel will put up more of a fight than most think for a about a quarter or two and then make some mistakes and lose all fight they had
  18. i didnt see any "dominating" going on...i did see a few of our younger guys get beat farely easy....Marshall Koks #71 for LaVergne couldnt be stopped by the right tackle from wat i saw
  19. top juniors: Chris Gray- LaVergne Mike Bryant- LaVergne Justin Bather- LaVergne Anthony Williams- LaVergne Sonny Gray - Smyrna Rod Wilks- Smyrna
  20. i think siegel will come out to play and Riverdale will be a bit weary on their new legs ( offense and coach ) kinda like LaVergne was last year...but by the second half will take over with great force Siegel - 14 Riverdale-35
  21. im predicting it to be ALOT like last years battle...only LaVergne will have their heads on strait this year and take the win but very closely no large margin of victory here...the team in better shape will take the victory
  22. If that is so then LaVergne must have the best Offensive line in history b/c not one of LaVergne's first OL came close to losing in any one on one drills with LC's DL...Corey Davis and Sherman Carter really held their side down
  23. WELL...here's the thing...LC didnt score a point until after Anthony was carted off...after that the coaches put ever second and third string player on the field....LC had a hard time scoring on the defense...and the 3rd offense trotted down field every drive like it was nothing...and turned the ball over in the redzone...of course LC was getting hype...but i would almost feel kinda sad gettin a couple of good plays on a scout team with my best players in
