Gomab, who do you think are the top 10 players in Williamson county regardless of position and class? I would love to hear your thoughts

I had no clue Oscar Robertson was from TN! For those of you that dont know, this is a guy that AVERAGED a triple double for a season. Thats amazing. Thanks for the info Rabid.

The late Fred Lane Jr. played and was once the starting running back for the Carolina Panthers. He played highschool ball at Franklin High and I believe he played college ball at Lane College? His father is a coach at Freedom Middle School. Just thought I'd throw that out there for you guys.

Konrad is a junior at Centennial highschool. Last year he didnt get much playing time, because with our program the underclassmen dont get very much PT. However he made the best of the situation, starting on a couple of occasions for CHS and contributing. He's about 6'0, 165 and is going to play point guard this year. He is a coach's dream. He is the least selfish player and is all about making the players around him better. He practised with the East/ West Allstars ( the game that was held at CHS ) and was asked to play in it but he couldnt bc he is only a junior! Our school doesn't get much recognition, but im sure you will hear about this kid soon. I work out with him alot and he defintely puts in the time and work to become a great player. Defintely look out for him this year. Yeah im one of his best friends, so i am biased...but trust me, he is the real deal.

Konrad Waliszewski from Centennial can absolutely put the ball in the basket. Very consistent from 25 feet and in. He's got one of the quickest releases i've seen.

Stan Trott : Hey, im a student at centennial. Our students are behind our football team 100% As for the 100 students running down the hill, that was pretty cool. You could feel the excitment in the air. I hope we get that much support during basketball season.

is this that 6'5 kid that is now a sophomore, last year when we played them and saw you guys play, he was pretty impressive. This might be the kid that had the chane to tie the game against Centennial with 3 freethrows and missed the first one as time had expired. even though he missed the freethrows, he wanted the ball in his hands. that shows alot of heart for a freshman. hickman county earned my respect last year. They might not be the most talented, but they always battle. Keep playing hard Hickman County and see you come season time.

i was at the game, number 30 for fhs ran wild. refugee made some huge plays. the atmosphere was amazing, defintely what highschool sports should be like. franklin showed it is defintely the premiere team in the state

I love our coach at Centennial, Brian Kelly. He always get the best out of what he has. Hes defintely one of the better coaches in the state

I heard Barry Gardner grew to 6'10, can anybody at Maplewood verify this. He was tough before, he should be something incredible now

I would like you to know that everybody at Centennial is praying for everybody close to Chad. My thoughts and prayers, too, are with Chad's family and the entire Forrest community. At times like this, it makes us realise how inconsequential winning and losing really is. God works in mysterious ways, and I am sure that something good will come out of this. Who are some teams that surprised over the summer and should be tough this year? I know my Centennial Cougars surprised some people. What do you guys think?

Im not completely sure, but i think i read an article about him a while back. It during his freshman year. If i can recall he was like 6'9 and 240 and from South Carolina??? It said he was really raw but had huge potential. I think this might be the same kid :confused:

jvaughan, hey whats up. I gotta give it you man, you showed alot of class by coming out and defending your coach. Yeah they are a new highschool opening up in Franklin, i think they are only gonna have sophomores and freshmen going there, so they are gonna be YOUNG. Some of the kids from Centennial are going there, and i think some of the kids from Brentwood. The kids from Centennial that went there aren't really the cream of the crop , with no disrespect to them. Long term they are gonna be getting alot of kids from Brentwood. They are in Brentwood and Centennial's district. BTW their mascot is the Raptors. Hope i helped you guys out.

i think overton high's mascot is the bobcat

centennial vs maplewood was a very good game...the 4th quarter was one of the most exciting ive seen. another good one was brentwood and franklin in the district 11-AAA championship.

Wow! Sounds like the Vols will be fun to watch in a year or 2. Whats the knock on Bradshaw? Ive heard too slow and cant get a shot off...but ive heard he makes good decisions and is a smart player. What are ur thoughts? TN wouldnt have offered to him unless he was a heckuva player, right?
