it was a good game but im pretty sure everone who was there knows how awful the officiating crew was. at one point in the third quarter the bearden had 10ouls called on them while powell only had 3. also the shot at the end of overtime did not go off in time the refs didnt even discuss it they just got out of the gym as quick as possible. the refs must have been powell graduates or something because this was not a fair game

bearden obviousely owns soccer in the state of tennessee...boys and girls champs. lets not blame this one on the refs, bad calls are always made in all sports so u just have to deal with it.

no one is going to able to compete with bearden's post players this year. returning we have dustin craig and demante simpson and coming off injury is blake jenkins. its our guard play that will hurt us....inexperience

bearden is going to be pretty young and inexperienced this year but the inside game is going to be the best in east tennessee with jenkins, simpson, and craig but the guards might be kinda weak. its hard to repeat the type of season they had last year especially without the trio

the dawgs looked awful 1st half. halliday was 3-16 which is never good. i think the fall break knox county had last week really hurt the dawgs in this matchup.

well i went to the game and lets just say it was a waste of a drive from knoxville. The cougs need some help, especially there QB and Center chemistry. 2 fumbles in the red zone is pretty bad . also the qb runs to much hes gonna get hurt. next week for the dawgs is very important...its the battle for second place in the region. after coming off a huge win against central last week, i think bearden has alot of momentum and motivation to win this game. alot of bearden fans are heading out to the game so that will also help. some key players for bearden on offense will be works (rb), halliday (qb), bunch (wr). on defense, williamson, cunningham & jackson could come up with some key picks or deflections. look for a hard pass defense so the toppers run game better be good. okay people finally some beraden thoughts on the game. congrats to andre sterling, he beat bearden 27-14 on friday night. bearden did not play as good as they have all season, our defense could not stop the run and we had alot of dropped passes. i think if dontae bunch wouldnt have gotten hurt in the 2nd quarter we could have lobbed up a few to him for some TDs. hes a giant. i was wondering what fhs was thinking going for the 51 yard field goal thats pretty risky and the punter blew it hardcore by shanking that one early putting bhs on teh 6 yard line. ihave no friendz no one cares about the can drive, its all about sports and does anyone remember bearden basketball and mens soccer last year??? does the "olay" chant ring a bell? o yeah thats what we sang as we rushed the fhs basketball court last year, o yea and the bearden basketball court o yea and the year before. ill refresh your memory both made trips to the state tourney, beating fhs on the way, and soccer winnning it all. so i guess the "how does second place feel" is also a question for farragut in other sports. also the bearden fans were alot louder and than the fhs guys good try though with your front row painted up cant handle bearden haveing "go bearden bulldogs! 07" on the front row, thats some good planning.also the whole flag pole thing was some bs.

finally theres some bearden influence on this thread. i must say it is our time...finally. bearden is alot stronger than last year so i think the bulldogs have the advantage. the atmosphere surrounding the game always makes it a close one, so who knows what will really happen. dawgs by a TD

Tennessee Titans High School Coach of the Week Bearden High School's head coach Bill wilson coached at West High school for 27 years before retiring. This year he came out of retirement and joined the bearden staff. Last friday at Bill Wilson Field at West HIgh School the bearden bulldogs won 31-29 in a very close game. K.S. "Bud" Adams, Jr. will make a $1,000 contribution to the Bearden High School football program in Coach Wilson's honor. congrats to bill wilson and the bearden bulldogs.
