:justwrestle: Forrest has a first year middle school team. They are very young with only 2 8th grades. Gaby Bussell is a very good 8th grade player on the middle school that can make an impact on the high school team next year. These are the 11a Schools that I know about. All of these programs have good teams that will help develop players for the high school programs. We need Huntland, Cascade, and Community to start a program to have every team in the district with a middle school. The Forrest Middle School Lady Rockets won their season opener over Eagleville 21-0. This is a great start for the new Jr High program at Forrest . Way to go Rockets!!!!

Coaches put pressure on young kids to play only one sport. The coaches do this for themselves and winning not for the kids. I feel that that's wrong. A kid that is outstanding in a sport at a young age might burn out from all the pressure that is placed on them. And everyone knows it all about winning. I agree with sidetrain the kids should be allowed to be kids. I coach both Basketball and softball and a love to see the young ladies enjoy playing both. I also love to win .

Don't under estimate the Forrest team. Pride and tradition in the softball program helps us put great teams on the field year after year. The question is can Forrest beat Richland's Johnson like we have in the past. 1 Forrest /Richland 2 3 Huntland 4 Moore Co.

Kori Knight is one of the most athletic players in 11a. Good choice for MVP.

The Forrest Lady Rockets played great with a win over Cascade last night. The addition of 8th graders really added needed depth to the bench. Gaby Bussell had a great game inside. Way to go Rockets keep it going!!!!!!!!

Kori Knight is a great player at Forrest. She's also a great young lady. I believe that she is one of the best three sport players in the state. Kori has oustanding speed and quickest (D1 type).

I have a 10u team that will be moving to 12u this fall and next spring. The team is based out of Chapel Hill ,tn (Tennessee High Voltage). We are looking for players in the middle Tn.area that love to play softball at the A level and are willing to travel.If interested call 931-364-7955.

I have a 10u A Team based out of Chaple Hill called the Tennessee High Voltage. These Girls have played about 60 games of softball ball this year and love it. It seems like The Shelbyville area is going in the right direction by getting these fast pitch travel teams started. Also Kes Inc is the main Sponsor of our team along with T&S Sports.
