veerman you are right on this one. In 2007, cumberland gap was 4-0 and i think claiborne might have been 2-2 maybe and both had played chuckey-doak with claiborne barely winning in overtime and the gap killing them so obviously the gap was the better team but claiborne came out fired up and jumped up on them and almost beat them with the gap coming back at the end but this year its kind of vice versa, whoever comes out fired up and ready to play will win, anything can happen.

good job guys,didnt turn out so great but u lost to a great team and have nothing to be ashamed of, forget bout it and get ready for next year!

im gonna say 24-21 with gp winning but who ever wins, both teams will be sore tomm, very physical game tonight

elizabethton is a great team and like veerman said,we have lost so many players through the year to injury all we can do is go out and play as hard as we can and mistake free and see where we are at when the game is over with.

dont know much about happy valley either but going on how they ust to be, this will be a very close game. through the years in the old region, it didnt matter how good or bad happy valley was and the same for gp, most years gp was better but every year it was a great game,there was years when happy valley wasnt very good and gp was undefeated and it was very close,i think gp will get the win but happy valley will play their socks off. and by the way, in 05-06,cumberland gap,happy valley and south greene beat gp, just though i would let ya know lol

still goes to show that unfortunatly no one in our conference is one greenevilles level yet.

losing daniel pace and seth sharpe is gonna hurt,espeically with pace on the o line bc now everyone has to shift over and it jumbles everyone up a little bit. Also it will be fun to see if franklin can keep everything rollin for a second week, hopefully we come out focused and ready to play.

I try not to hate anyone cghs 72....it will shorten your life not theirs IMO....I have far too many friends(fans and coaches) on both sides of the river to get too involved with the jawing, and honestly I may be the minority but I always pull for the Gap, unless they are playing Claiborne. I know and I know the Claiborne coaches know that Greeneville is on another level....the Bulldogs are working to be where the Greene Devils are now with their program....to win or give the Devils a tough competitive game would do wonders for the program and the conference as well IMO. I'm with you bigdaddy. The claiborne/CG game is over with and done. Claiborne won this time. CG can try again next year. Keep this thread to Greeneville/Claiborne. Having seen both play, I have to give the edge to Greeneville and probably in a big way. Their front 7 is too much for the bulldogs. Fuson is a good player, but he will not have a good night simply running the ball against the devils. If they want to get him the ball and get him involved then they need to throw it to him, otherwise, it will be a very long night for the bulldogs. Best of luck to both teams. I for one am proud that two teams from our conference are in the top 10 in the state AP polls. Even if it doesn't mean anything, it still gives publicity to our conference and to every team that plays in it. I hope the Devils have a safe trip over and back and i hope that the game is injury free for both teams. i totally agree with both of you, ur exactly right, bobcatstatechamps should take some notes over what to say about stuff from what u guys have said . i totally agree with what veerman said, claiborne is a good team but greeneville in the end will be to strong and to fast for them or for any of us to have kept up with, they have been playin simply better competetion and beating better competetion than claiborne or cumberland gap or anyone else in this conference hopefully we will all get to there level in a few years, good luck to both teams.
