  1. Ok now we all know that the purpose of this posting site is NOT to dog, degrade, talk-down, poke fun etc. of ANY PLAYER past, present or future. BUT I must respond on behalf of Brock and his family. And who ever posted that up there: "that sure don't sound like the Brock I know". He played strong and hard NOT for himself but for the TEAM and the mere fact that he HATES to lose. His attitude is just as respectful as any of the other team players out there across this district. I do know that Brock came here as a junior high player ONLY because his family brought him here, it was not his choice to leave his hometown. His roots and love for the game began when he was a little boy in California. Playing sports comes natural to him, so joining the Richland Raiders only seemed natural, even though he was never truely accepted. He is a true team player and he is the kind of person who always make the best of any situation. Who ever posted that up there saying he never celebrated with the team, or never thanked the line, the backs or ANY other team mate is SORELY INSECURE of their own abilities. It is clear that whoever posted that up there is someone who does not know Brock for who he is as a true friend and competitor. I for one wish EVERY team and teamplayer across this district great success. And wish to set the truth free as this is his mother, Tamara Dias & I am "proud2b".... Good luck to all... Play with Heart & Respect your fellow human beings.
  2. Richland will have a hard time filling Brock's and Corey's shoes. They also have to fill the lost of some great seniors that have graduated. The word or rumor is the star receiver is also leaving (Hewitt). There are still some real good players at Richland. Hope them the best. They are also at a loss of two coaches, coach Dias which was a big support and help of the team on and off the field especially in the weight room, and coach Styles which just left last week. Word is: Brock did not leave due to family problems. They just wanted to go back to California where they were appreciated as people as well as a coach and player. He also has two older brothers in California that have since moved back there to live, for which they miss due to the long distance relationship. They also own a large corperation that needed thier personal attention. Bo is a good young player with a lot to learn. The offense may not be suitable for the players they now have at their positions. (Coach Pickett) created a great offense that fit Corey and Brock well. Hard to use the same ole thing and someone elses offense.
