  1. IT'S GAME DAY!!!!! I'm pumped. and I can see that Pedo is...hope everyone else is as well!!! The rain has stopped for now, things are looking good...lol Good luck to both teams, and may the best team win!!!
  2. So what's the significance of the toilet anyways lol...not like we're playing the toilet bowl...lol oh welll just trying to keep this topic alive
  3. It dont surprise me either, the timing does but the vandalsim don't. Wasn't there one year that either Coffee or Tullahoma put a toilet and TP on the other's field, and I also remember one year while I was in school that Tullahoma spray painted over the CC's we use to have at mid-field. As I just said hope this fires our boys up alot more!
  4. That's just absurb. Why do that when you can just let the players do all the work on game night. I know it's a rivalry but I don't think vandalism is apart of it. Pedo, do you know if anyone got caught or was it just one of those quickies and get out as quick as possible. I hope this fires our guys up and shows T-town that you don't mess with someone elses practice facilities and they walk out of the game Friday night with the Coffee Pot!
  5. From what Lisa Patton is saying on channel 2 news, the rain should be out before the games kick off across the mid-state. Still will make for a messy situation on the field.
  6. That's terrible to hear. I send my deepest condolences to him and his entire family. May his brother Rest in Peace. My prayers, and thoughts will be with him and his family during this terrible time.
  7. Well said!! The game is now 3 days away and I hope both teams are getting pumped and psyched up for the big game!! What a week these two teams will have in practice getting prepared for a game that will be classified a big win for either team. Even though Cookeville was a big win for Coffee, beating and taming the Wildcats will be a huge win for the Raiders that I believe will set the momentum for the rest of the season!! Good luck to the Wildcats and..... LETS GO RAIDERS!!!!!!
  8. I think Oakland will win this one. Oakland has way too much talent and team speed. I haven't seen FC play yet but hear alot of good things from them. However, Oakland shouldn't have to much problems from FC. Good luck to both teams!!
  9. Some valid points, but to answer your question. As of late we, Coffee Co., have been punting and doing a great job at it. Coffee showed against a good Cookeville team that they are up for the challenge. Alot of people had been picking against Coffee Co. last week in the Cookeville game, and Coffee Co managed to squeak out the victory. Tullahoma better be ready for the three man running team of Goins, Kanjanabout, and Tinsely all three are excellent at what they do and can hurt you in many ways. Goins with his jukes, Tinsley with his never say quit attitude and Kanjanabout with his speed and power. Throw in the factor of them running behind a solid O-Line anchored by the big man himself Robbie Gonzales, and your looking at something Coffee Co has lacked, and that's run support. I say if Coffee Co. continues to mix thier plays up like they did against Cookeville, then it is quiet possible that they can keep T-town off balance. Good luck to both teams Friday and let's bring home that ever so elusive Coffee Pot Raiders!!!!
  10. T-town pretty much manhandled White's Creek though I'm not familiar with that program. Thanks for the support you give us 2p well maybe didnt support us against ur Patriots lol anyways I hope we get another physical game Friday night!! I know it's a rivalry but maybe this year let the teams battle for the Pot instead of the fans lol.
  11. Yes Tinsleys run was one of the best I've seen lately. Of course it would of been alot better if he scored...lol also glad to see us passing more tonight. Kinda took my by surprise by passing to start the game. Hobbs is getting better game by game. Very evasive tonight on that near sack. As I mentioned earlier if we can stop the outside runs I think Coffee Co will be clicking then on all cylinders.
  12. Haha...I dont think about bringing a radio to the game man...lol I would rather listen to the pads pop and I'm sure they'll be popping next Friday!!
  13. Yeah Gonzales #78 behaved...there was an unsportsman like conduct called against us around the end of the game not sure who it was against though. Awesome game though!!!
  14. Its way too early to predict this game...I just hope it's a really good one as it has been over the years. Sounds like T-town has a pretty solid offense so I'd expect Coffee will practice alot this upcoming week on defending the pass and watching the QB as well. After tonights win I'm gettin alot more excited about this years team and season. I'm looking forward to a great year and some great football!!
  15. I was real impressed at the way the Raiders played tonight....cuz of this I no longer have a voice lol. I love hard hitting games like this. Kanjanabout laid a few nice hits to the defense tonight...knocking a chin strap I think off one of Cookeville's helmets. What's the latest on #13 from Cookeville..I saw him take a nasty shot when he tried to score close to the end of the 1st qtr. I know he came back so it must of not been to bad. Tonight Coffee Co showed what they can do when they spread the field, I'd like to see more of it throughout the year. Now if Coffee can get the outside containment speed up we will be in really good shape. Good luck to Cookeville throughout the rest of the season. Oh I also enjoyed Cookeville's halftime show. Coffee Co...get ready for the big game next Friday and bring home the Coffee Pot!!
  16. Well said nolesfan. Having home field advantage in a game like this is always big no matter who the team we're playing is. We always have a great fan attendence and I'm sure the fans will be in full force and will do all we can to pump the Raiders up to a whole new level. I'm looking for an excellent and exciting game this Friday night and may the best team wins..... GO RED RAIDERS!!
  17. I agree! Coffee's special teams last year was well awful in my opinion. This years team is alot better. The kicker seems to be more accurate and the tackles seem to be alot better. I just hope that Coffee continues to play their hearts out like they have for the past 2wks and makes something positive out of this game win or lose...though I prefer Coffee to win lol!
  18. The question has been asked...who will win this game? Well I do not have a crystal ball so therefor I can not look into the future...so I will not predict a winner in this game. Therefor with that said, I say the winner of this game will be the fans. These two teams always have an exciting game and I look for nothing any different this year. Both teams play hard nosed football and the Raiders will be hungry for a win after last weeks game against Oakland. Barring any injuries from the Raiders and they execute the entire game as they did in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter against Oakland then I think this will be an exciting game. I am a Raiders fan and of course will pull for the Raiders in this game. It'll come out to who has the less turnovers, and can control the line of scrimmage in my opinion. Good luck to the Cavs and good luck to the Big Red!!!
  19. I'm sure we'll have a pretty good crowd turnout for this game. We had a really nice turnout at the Shelbyville game even after the game was called off until Saturday. I believe we had a better fan base show up than Shelbyville did. As far as the band goes...they are alot different than back in 98 when Oakland and CC last met. I was in the band at that time. This go around the band is under the direction of a new band and asst band director. So I'm not sure how the band will be this time compared to the band of 98. By the way since I'll be attending this game...where's Oakland HS at....I remember in 98 we played ya'll at MTSU, which I might add was quiet fun....lol
  20. Totally agree 100% pedo...question I have is did Hobbs check off his recievers...saw some plays that we could of had good yardage from where Aaron, Thornton, or Owens was wide open down the field. I couldn't see much from where I was sitting...too many umbrellas lol. Also I heard that Gonzales was or still is on TN's radar...is that true? That would be great....not sure if anyone from Manchester has played for UT or not. Goins looks pretty sharp playin DB..nearly had a nice pick that I think he could of ran back...early in the 1st half I believe. All in all we looked pretty good...real impressed with Tinsley, Goins, and Kanjanabout running the ball! Saw alot of pressure on the QB from our D but kinda hard to wrap up a very mobile QB...anyways I'm pulling for Coffee in this one as well...good luck to both teams...I can't wait till Friday!
  21. I agree with Pedo on this...Shelbyville looks like a pretty good team this year so I'm going with Shelbyville by 14 as well.
  22. IT'S GAME DAY BABY!!!! lol sorry i've been waiting since the end of season to say that. I hope to see a big turn out tonight for the Raiders....and I really hope I see all the good things Pedo and 5A fan keep writing about in our papers about the team. Good luck tonight to my alma mater, Coffee Co. and good luck to Shelbyville!
  23. Does Oakland have their own field? I remember going to the Cofffee Co/Oakland game back in 98 when i was a sophomore and we played Oakland at MTSU. So I was just wondering...thanks and good luck to the Patriots this week, as well as next week...and might I add throughout the entire season!
  24. I really havent read or heard to much about Shelbyville so I'll go on the record and say that Coffee Co. pulls out the win by 21pts. Good luck goes out to Shelbyville for a great year full of success, execpt when we meet ya'll in 6 days...lol
